Johnny!! Have been watching ALL of your videos and YOU ARE AMAZING!! Made my FIRST cook today with your Helpful advice. I would ENJOY buying you a COUPLE of Beers!! Thanks again!
I'm hooked on these videos. I had to order a new gate for my side yard last week. Once the installation is complete (about a month from now) then I will be griddle shopping and, even better, griddle COOKING! I'm trying to gain as much knowledge before my purchase as I can. Your videos are awesome, Johnny!
Congratulations on the new griddle. I hope my videos were helpful. I'm glad you found this one. I feel like it's the most helpful but doesn't get a ton of views. Let me know if you have any questions.
I love your videos! I’ve been debating on getting a traditional grill or a griddle and you’ve sold me on this exact griddle. Just ordered it and all the accessories and i can’t wait to get them!
Thanks so much Jade and congratulations to on the new camp chef! I'm sure you'll love it just as much as I do. I appreciate you watching and commenting.
Thanks for the tips! Temp control/zones has made a big difference in my cooking! Pork roll, egg and cheese for dinner tonight with toasted buns. Thanks again. Just got my griddle two days ago.
You are very welcome and congratulations on the new griddle! That sounds like a great dinner to me. I think toasting buns might be one of my favorite things about having a griddle. Even if I'm just doing frozen burgers I can add onions and a toasted bun and make them so much better.
Man, I'm a complete beginner. Truth be told, I never learned how to cook at all, let alone do so properly. So glad I ran across you're page. Super helpful in all regards. Where can I find your cooking order list?
Hey man I'm so glad my videos have been helpful for you. My cooking order list is in my free ebook. Here's a link to it. It also signs you up for my weekly newsletter that's about griddling. mailchi.mp/johnnybrunet/1coooh3e1q
Good advice. The best thermometer I have found is the Blackstone dual infrared and probe thermometer. Wallyworld sells it in their lawn and garden section but not all their stores stock it.
I commented about this on the previous video, cutting the two outside burners once preheated is the way to go. Thanks for that tip, it has changed my cooking style. like cooking on a gas range, it's all about temp control man! Thanks for the videos!
Thanks Jeremy I'm glad it's working well for you. And thanks for watching multiple videos. Ya the middle two burners on has been my go to way of doing it lately. It's just way easier to control and still keep stuff warm.
10k and growing good sir! Keep it up! It's rare to find passionate youtubers that aren't over eccentric, have knowledge and experience but remain humble, have a great sense of humor but dont rely on it to mask their weaknesses. (Still laughing about the wa-grou from your other vid.) Genuine and chill, don't change a thing.
Thanks so much for the kind words I really appreciate it. Yes genuine and chill is what I try to be. Nothing wrong with being eccentric and energetic, that's just not my style. Thanks so much for watching.
This is a very helpful video, Johnny. You do a great job of explaining without a long video full of unnecessary fluff. Just serious girdling tips. Im so very glad I found your videos and glad to be a subscriber. Keep up the great work!
Very helpful video. I love the link to griddle accessories. People must be using your recommendations, because some items are unavailable due to high sales. Only the ones I wanted of coarse.
Nice video. Great tips, especially for NEW or BEGINNERS with a flat top. I'm part of a facebook page for Blackstone Griddlers and alot of new folks on that site and they so afraid of failing all the time. You just have to get down and dirty and try things. GRIDDLE ON DUDE.
Thanks for another great video! My only pet peeve about my grill is the hot spots. But utilizing your tips should really help. You’re a freaking guru of grilling!
Whenever I search TH-cam to learn how to cook (attempt to cook) something new, numerous videos pop up. But I always look for yours, because you’re a great instructor. Thanks for the help!
Another educational video - nice work, buddy! I like how you have a dedicated video for this, as it is necessary. I ESPECIALLY like how you talk about this in most of your other videos while you’re cooking. I’ve watched several of your videos numerous times to learn “griddle zone management”. One thing though… that new mic. I could not stop staring at it - LOL. Why did you change it up? I initially thought it was a decoration on your shirt 😶, but then I saw the wire. Sorry for laughing; you know I love your videos!
Thanks Chase I'm glad the videos are helping. The mic 🤣🤣 man it's the same one but I thought the last in person video sounded windy. And I live right by an intersection. So that's something you can put on the mic to block the wind. But it just looks like a big grey flower or something 😂😂😂😂 I started rewatching the footage and was like "oh no". But it was too late I just didn't have it in me to reshoot it. I'm probably not going to use that mic attachment again.
Yo... Johnny ! LOVE YOUR SHIRT !!! I road my bicycle to the local store in 1967 to buy that album. Do you know what an album is. ? I do I'm 66 years old. Great video Man love your wardrobe !!!!! Thank you Frank from montana...
Wow that's awesome Frank! And yes I know what an album is hahaha. I had a vinyl collection for a little bit in college but I got rid of it. Ya my parents got me into the Beatles when I was young and I was really into them in highschool. I like to go back and research old music, the stories are great .

Concerts today are nothing like the old days..I know I'm 66 years old THANK you Frank from montana. Ps get an ELVIS shirt for your next video !!!!!!!!
Thanks Tony I'm glad you like them. Ya a 2 burner is harder. You just really need to watch what order you cook in and try to maybe us the oven to hold stuff hot. For example if I were doing breakfast I would turn my oven to 170 or as low as it goes, then do the bacon and potatoes first. When they were done I would just hold them in my oven while I did the pancakes and eggs last. Hope that helps.
I was watching one of your Vids the other day, and I thought you had a digital thermometer for the grill asurface, combined with an instant read model/ Am I mistaken?

I'm going to give it another month to make sure it doesn't fall apart then I will probably do a video going over why I think it's the best .
@@kurtvonfricken6829 sorry I didn't expand on this. I don't know the science behind it I just tried it on a stainless steel le griddle and it wouldn't read properly.
