- We are in Dublin, Ireland for the day on our British Isles cruise on Norwegian Dawn. We just have the day so we are going to see and do as much as possible!
The highlight of the say was a full tour of the St James Gate Brewery AKA the Guinness factory! The tour ends with a full pint on the top floor observation deck with overlooks all of Dublin!

I was in Dublin this past August, I'm English and living in America but wanted to go as I'd never been. Loved Dublin! The Guinness at the Guinness Factory is like nowhere else. We stayed in Dalkey, home to Bono, Enya, Matt Damon and Russell Crowe (Russell rents Matt Damon's house). We would hop on the train and make different stops. Dún Laoghaire was one of them....loved it there. If you ever go back, stay at the Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel in Dalkey, it's lovely!
Dang its been a hot minute since I have seen your channel...I was watching someone in Dublin and THEN my favorite couple from Louisiana (Go Demons!) my sisters went to NSU! we are from E. Texas...anyhoodles....I just realized I may become a foodie when I start cruise life ;))))) Are you guys going to have any Cruises where we can travel with yall? Happy 2024!
I love traveling/visiting when raining. The less people the better. I dislike lots of people.
We were there for a few days last July on a Bus tour. We discovered the hop on hop off bus and enjoyed it. We went to the Teeling Distillery… very interesting. The Aran Sweater company is a great place to find beautiful sweaters. We went to the Little Dublin Museum. A place I wanted to go to was the Post zoffice where the uprising started.🥰💙🥰
I’m going to Dublin in June for a few days and seeing Taylor Swift there!
I hope you have accommodation sorted? All the hotel prices etc have gone up massively for her tour here . A good old shakedown

Fond memories of Temple Bar from my much younger days….🎉🎉🎉🎉. When I visited Dublin, My friend who lived there worked in a homeless shelter, which was closed for renovations. That was home for a week….now I need the comforts of a 4 star hotel….😊
I don’t have issues walking in the rain. Love walking in Ketchikan AK in the rain…Just be prepared.

Dublin is still on my wishlist, actually whole Ireland is. But did you get the tickets for the Guinness tour before you got there, or can you buy them when you arrive, like you did in Belfast with the Titanic museum. Love to follow your travels.

There i a place there, where you can pour your own Guiness, you try and pour the perfect pint.Then you can take it up the Observation Bar...:)

What month did you do your cruise?
In May 1999 it rained a lot. Just wore raincoat and had fun! Few years later in September it was warm, no rain! Love Ireland.
