On a side note I love how you guys are being completely transparent about it and it's what separate you from some TH-camrs who might've done the same but never mention it afterwards, like the dog simply disappears and it's never adressed. When your job is traveling and posting, it seems like a never ending vacation to outsiders, but it’s not in your case. It’s your JOB. So staying home is your vacation. Totally understandable and you deserve a good rest to chill, pursue interests outside traveling, etc. In regard to Pepper, you did what was best for the dog. The most unselfish thing possible. Jason reminds me a lot of my older brother. He gets an idea and he’s gotta do it to see if it works out. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn’t. Best advice I ever got is this…”there are no mistakes, only learning experiences.” You learned having a dog doesn’t work for you at this time. No big deal. Good on you for finding her an amazing home. We all love you. No judgement.
P.S. Jason, it takes a strong person to admit when they’ve made a mistake. Kudos to you for doing so, and publicly. That says a lot about your character, and others should follow suit! You know, my husband and I had the best dog ever for 15 years because someone else made the brave decision to admit they made a mistake and find a new home for their dog. We were so grateful to them, because she was exactly what we needed at the time.

You made the decision that is right for the pup and for you. We currently have four dogs that our tenant cares for while we travel. They stay in their own home, and there is no disruption to their routine. By the end of our vacations, we are more than ready to get home to our 'babies'.

I went through the same thing. Our dog Velvet was so smart that i was able to teach her anything. She passed away a couple of years before we moved into town off the farm. We wanted to get another dog, but on the farm she had the run of yhe farm. It was a hard decision to make not to get another dog. We have to travel fo medical appointments and vacations. I did feel it would be fair to get another dog and have to place it in a kennel. Jason you made the right decision. I just know how hard that decision is to make.

This year took a road trip to the 127 yard sale (1st weekend in august.) 690 miles from Alabama to Ohio. Amish had fried pies and ice cream churned by horse power! We dug for diamonds in Arkansas and went to disco bathroom in Kentucky. Buckees rules! Just a couple random ideas.
Love the cruises, van travel, life updates and general travels. Love the tours of ships, food reviews, where to stay in an area, what to do in a city. (example: you go to Florida, top ten places to see, eat, stay etc) are great too!
What a heartbreaking decision. You loved Pepper and did what was best for her. I have two dogs and traveling is difficult. We got them during covid and would freak if we tried to kennel them. We rent houses when we travel so we can bring them.

We did Australia and New Zealand and loved it. I highly recommend flying in premium economy, or flying Air New Zealand and springing for the sky couch. Go during March. It is shoulder season and the weather is still very nice. Go, you won’t regret it.
I love your complete videos. You know the ones that show a how you got there, transportation, and what was included in your package. Also a cost estimate would be nice. I dream through you!!!
I know that feeling of getting a puppy and feeling overwhelmed. After my Lola passed away suddenly at 7 years old . I was so destroyed I immediately got 2 puppies and immediately regretted it. I don’t think there is one piece of wood in my house that wasn’t chewed up. Long story short they have calmed down and they are only 11 years old😂 I understand completely

You made the right decision. Puppies need routine and stability and travel is NOT that.
Also true of small children. You have to really work your life out to have puppies or little guys to travel with.

I too LOVE dogs, but I also have realized they don’t fit in my lifestyle. You did right by her. Love your channel because you’re real people. Keep it up. Absolutely loved the videos from Alaska. Never once had a thought that something was wrong and why wasn’t Jason there. Not my business, but also, what a fantastic trip for your granddaughter.

My opinion is I love it!!! For all you have done for your followers, who can question your thoughts and motives? Everything ya'll do is for the good of all that follow. Y'all explain your changes/decisions, which is amazing! I have no idea how a life of yours could be. I just want to continue seeing YOUR videos; hearing your thoughts on vacation spots; & seeing two wonderful people sharing their love and bringing so many people together. I bet Jason forgot, but on like the 2nd stop of our OG cruise, Jason & I walked to the bar to get some drinks. We had some talks about our past. I really enjoyed that talk and him being a human. Since then, I have really had a respect for Mr Jason. One of these days, we may talk again, Jason. . .

I personally love your cruise trips!!! We are doing 3 cruises next year. One of them is a 21 day cruise from Barcelona to Cape Town in November of 2025!!!
I love watching your train travels. I took the train from San Diego up to Seattle along the coast. We had a sleeper car. Absolutely beautiful! I want to do more train travel.
