    Great video. We did this same trail in our tundra a couple of years ago. There was about 4" of snow mixed with some ice. It made for an interesting drive.

      That sounds like a great time! Having the added difficulty really made this trail FUN!

    What happened to that eagle at the end of the video? It slammed into the side of the ridge!!! HAHAHA!!!! that did it for me!
    Legit Overlander? Didn't know the existed until now ! Great Videos!!!

      That eagle 😅 the wind was gusting so strong that it pushed the drone about 45’ down into the wall, I saw it on the screen when I was flying and thought “what the heck did I hit… I’m at least 30 yards above the top of the ledge”. So incredibly lucky to have not lost it. If I don’t make fun of myself it just doesn’t feel genuine to me, I’m happy you’ve found this entertaining… it’s definitely the direction this channel is heading.

      Many thanks! It was so gusty that day it felt like the truck was about to be blown off the cliff, very unsettling feeling. And then when I watched the drone footage I realized the spot we all park at is broken off of the main rock 😵‍💫

    great video! i think i’m getting a 2nd gen tundra, is it better to remove the bed for off-roading? and where did you have the mods done? thank you

    • @WolfPacOutdoors
      @WolfPacOutdoors  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Depends on the type of wheeling you'll be getting into. I'm a huge Norweld (it's the brand of the tray) fan and having this tray on gives me so much more clearance around obstacles, plus I have a ton of secure storage with a sweet sleeping platform. So yeah I'm bias 🤣🤣🤣
      Most of the mods were a collaboration between: MCM Fab, Mule Expedition Outfitters, Nitro Gear and Axle, Deaver Spring, ADS Racing Shocks, and Myself. I could go deeper on who did what but most had input into how to make this build work synergistically.

    does left foot braking help activating A-TRAC? or is it useless when you have lockers installed?

    • @WolfPacOutdoors
      @WolfPacOutdoors  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      left foot braking acts similar to a dumbed down version of A-Trac... as I understand it A-Trac slows down wheels separately through break application providing the stuck wheel the power to move through the differential. when someone left foot brakes it's applying pressure to the whole system then accelerating through the pressure applied provides equal power to the stuck and free wheel. I can not tell you if one is better than the other but I can tell you I prefer manual application because I'm in control of the vehicles behavior and with the physical manipulation of the pedals I know how the vehicle will handle... where as if a computer is doing it for me it would be less predictable. Second question: A-Trac is useless when using lockers because the wheels will be rotating at the same speed on both sides.

      @WolfPac-Outdoors one more question, are you supercharged? If not, are you planning to to help move the weight of the camper on trails?

    • @WolfPacOutdoors
      @WolfPacOutdoors  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I am not supercharged and I'm not planning on it, the truck has plenty of power to move the camper basically anywhere I want to take it. Re-gearing it was clutch to maintaining power on trails.
