Thanks Ziye 🤜🤛👍 it was literally a nail biter filming this… at one point I was crawling up this section while actively flying the drone 😅 I told myself it’s one or the other I’m not trying to die here 🤣
😅🤣🤣 Thanks for the spot 🔥🤘 It was such a wild drive, looking back that place is usually lined with people, it's pretty wild I was completely alone... not a soul to be seen.
After binge watching Hell’s Gate videos... I couldn’t believe how rare it is to have zero ppl out there, quite the unique experience. Thanks for watching 🤜🤛🤘
Brew... my heart was racing going up, I was completely locked in. Reaching the top was top 4 of the most exhilarating 4wd moments I've ever had. The reactions were genuine, hooting and hollering for joy, damn... at one point I cried 😅🤣then I was like "oh s*** we gotta go, its getting dark 😵💫" lol
The motor & fuel system is all factory still… is there something with the oil pump I should know about? I haven’t herd anything about it before now 🤷♂️ Thanks for the sub and support 🤜🤛🍻🍻
Glad you liked it 😆 it was definitely a treat to have the solo experience because that trail is generally littered with people. It was incredibly serene 🤜🤛👍
I was on this trail 1 night, and on that it was more of an emergency camp. The trail was so dark, it got too dangerous to continue on plus I had about 4 miles left.
The whole locker debate could be had here... it's obvious they work and provide gobbs of traction, but with proper left foot braking similar results are possible. If you ever wanna try it (turn the traction control off) have one wheel on dirt and one on pavement then accelerate out, the tire with the least traction will spin. Now do it again while keeping firm pressure on the brakes, it will spin less or not at all in some cases thus providing equal torque to each side. If I weren't locked that's exactly how I would have driven it. And yep it would have been slightly more difficult 😆 (that's called grandpa answer, I tell a story when asked a question 😂). The problem with traction control is it cuts engine power while trying to stop one wheel from spinning, and when climbing something like this having the engine cut back could be catastrophic. And with the Tundra in particular if you left foot brake to aggressively at speed (like through corners) it'll cut engine power too... 🤦♂️
@@WolfPacOutdoors best grandpa answer ever!! Thanks dude. That all makes a lot of sense! I’m gonna practice left foot braking, but have future plans for a rear locker. Cheers!
It’s crazy that you did all these yourself! Great video.

Crazy! That’s off the engines factory oil pump system still? Loving that you are using a Tundra and I’ve subscribed.

Awesome! How many nights did you camp?

EPIC!! Great job.
How much more challenging do you think that would have been if you weren't locked front and rear?
