Awe :') Thanks for sharing. And I'm glad you enjoyed it! :) Getting out of the house and doing all of these activities reminded my how great the world is - so I'm happy that translates well in the video :)
This made me so emotional. I used to be very active but have generally become a slump lump lately and seeing how open and exploratory you are and reminding me there are so many options of exercise besides the gym. Had a smile on my face and tears in my eyes the whole video. Thank you!!
Thanks for leaving this really thoughtful comment, Hannah. I really appreciate it ❤ It makes me really happy to hear that my video made you feel this way!!
I am a 61 year old female. I had spent my life exercising and am reaping the benefits now. My health is excellent. My sport of choice is bike riding been doing it for 45 years! Still fast, still fun! Exercise is the fountain of youth!
Wow you're an inspiration!! I am 34 year old with 3 kids and My goal is to be the best version of myself every day so I can grow old and be healthy and happy 😊
Exercise is also the fountain of injuries. There are risks with everything. And even without being responsible for them you can be involved in them and they can mess up your life more than not 'exercising'. Said that way because simply moving and staying active without engaging in sport specific exercise (ie cycling to cycle vs cycling to get places etc) are very different things. That said...exercising alone isn't the fountain of youth. Eating well, being social (which I think has a greater effect on life longevity than almost anything else unless I've misremembered), work life balance, mindfulness etc all play a part. There's plenty of people that are heavily exercise focussed that age quickly. Life is a balance.
You will get injured and ill in life, guaranteed. But risk nothing, gain nothing. I broke my ankle playing soccer at age 48, but it was worth it. I am still active and love sports. Why do animals (including humans) play? Because its enjoyable and good for you.
I've been doing 20 minutes of cardio everyday for the past 60 something days and it hasn't gotten any easier but it does make everything else easier lol. Keep it up
Completely agree. I was so disheartened to find out I still couldn't run up a mountain even though I improved my V02max so much 😂 Gotta love the journey 🙃

Watched this video while putting myself into light exercise, again, after starting my way of losing weight, getting sick, losing all the progress, going through self-beating-up again, etc. - this video hyped me up. There is a big message here - to find the activity you REALLY enjoy. Good luck with this channel!

this was such a fun and inspirational watch! It is nice to see family included in what sometimes people consider a time to work on the self and the self only. Love your energy and sense of humor! off to do some cardio i go :)
I loved watching every minute of it. I'm pretty much following a similar schedule and then your video pops up in my feed. You are a great storyteller, very spontaneous. Keep up the beautiful energy!
Hey, is this Victoria? My grandma used to live on Cranmore Rd Oak Bay! You are so easy to watch. I can't articulate it as well as others have on here but you edited the content so well and it helps that you have such an awesome smile. Subscribed
I love your approach to this SO much. You have such a wonderful attitude and I LOVE the nugget advice about whatever cardio you enjoy is the best one. That coupled with trying tons of different ones really helped drive home the point that just because you don't like one type of cardio doesn't mean you can't find one you like! Thanks so much for sharing ❤❤❤
It’s so funny because when I saw your positive go getter attitude st the beginning and also just how open and vulnerable you were being my brain assumed that because of this you must have had the perfect life. Then your dad spoke about his heart attack and it really put into perspective for me yet again that no one goes through a life without hardship and in fact hardship is a natural consequence of caring about someone. So thank you for showing me yet again that it is not what we go through but the decisions we make to show up for ourselves!
I found this fun to watch, you have a great energy around you. I have been trying to find ways to get my cardio/fitness as i get up in the morning, but im struggling. I'm going to try and remember what you said at the end. "you''re never going to want to" Thank you for the fun video!
I don't know how I stumbled across this video but I'm glad I did. So motivating and overall so positive. I'll go to the gym now, for the first time this week.
I just lost my Dad last month. He wasn't in the bed of shape, but he made time for us as kids. It means alot when I see people spend time with their parents. I'm glad he's "not dead yet" as he put it. I'm also glad you are incorporating that into your videos too.
As someone who does not have the best relationship with my physical body, I am so in love with this perspective when it comes to working out. I am inspired to do exercising not as a chore, but rather a way to strengthen my physical and mental health. This video motivates me to do better in terms of loving physical activities itself. Thank you for this video and I hope your reach expands because you deserve it!!!
I love your videos! I find myself wanting to do more with my day & take care of myself as much as possible. Thank you for your authenticity & realness!🫶🏼
I'm so happy to have come across your video today as I needed a bit of a motivational kick to do a workout on my lunch break. I really loved seeing you try out all the different activities as well as seeing you push yourself even on the days you woke up exhausted. Thank you for making this video and hope you're having an awesome day :)
I'm glad you mentioned sticking with the cardio you like! I bet if you keep it up, you'll be in the 40's in just a few months! Make sure to take your rest days though, they're just as important as the work! Also make sure to look up periodization, gains are not linear. Great video! 👍

Hey so I just want to say that that final part where you said that you are glad to have a healthy body that can do all of this really hit me. I am struggling with quitting smoking and this may have been something that I needed to hear. Thank you!

This was so motivating, I literally paused the video halfway through to go do 30 minutes of cardio and then came back and watched the rest when I was done.
This was so inspirational! I’ve had a really rough past year health wise and I’m just starting to really become active again, and watching all of the different activities you tried out made me want to do the same. Amazing video 🎉

I just found this channel and I have to say that I find Makari so fun and refreshing. This video in particular was interesting to me. I started doing aerobics at lunch at the start of the year because I work from home and was totally sedentary. It's really surprising but I actually enjoy it. Keep up the good work!
i love your energy, its really warm and inviting! not to mention im really glad that you included both positive and "negative" aspects where you sometimes feel AWESOME but sometimes feel a little down in the dumps but yet you still pushed through :') i commend you for that, it was really amazing to see you attempt this challenge! you nailed it
what the FU💫 I literally cried at this vid?? So positive and so adventurous. You noticed the joy of willie, rainy walks, biiiiiiiiiiiig stretches. And I am glad your dad is doing good
as a dancer, from what you showed your moves look really nice and fluid, your lines and posture are good, you only looked awkward when you lacked the confidence to do the moves fully. it's amazing that it's your first time dancing! honestly im a bit jealous lol you smashed it
What a great video! I love that you did so many different things and also mentioned that it is not important that you do one exact thing, but that you do one thing that you really love and that makes you excited to do it! I have started running last year as well as a cardio addition to me climbing and I really felt the love and energy that you portraied in this video. It is kinda like a happy place, where it is just you and your breath and maybe a good podcast. And it is soooooo freeing. + it really helped me with feeling alive on a daily basis and especially on concerts and festivals. I wish I could just go out for a run now, but I am currently in progress of recovering from a strained ankle.. Let's see how much longer I have to go without going for runs and climbing.. But I am definitely going to do a low-impact workout today ❤
Ha! this was a great video! Your energy, editing, and delivery so solid. I particularly loved the basketball break... not the least because I also shot a basketball related TH-cam video on that SAME COURT... but like 3 years ago. Love your channel, you're killing.

this was such a fun and inspirational watch! It is nice to see family included in what sometimes people consider a time to work on the self and the self only. Love your energy and sense of humor! off to do some cardio i go :)
Your energy and positive vibes are so infectious. Love the videos and keep it up!
I loved watching every minute of it. I'm pretty much following a similar schedule and then your video pops up in my feed.
You are a great storyteller, very spontaneous. Keep up the beautiful energy!
Girl, you are so fun. Thank you for bringing joy and health in every way possible to this world - and internet.
Hey, is this Victoria? My grandma used to live on Cranmore Rd Oak Bay! You are so easy to watch. I can't articulate it as well as others have on here but you edited the content so well and it helps that you have such an awesome smile. Subscribed
I love that you said 'This is the most nervous I have been in my life for a class' and then you were doing all of the goofy moves. I love it
I love your approach to this SO much.
I stopped the video mid-way and went for a run, that I've been postponing for 2 days 🎉 Thank you for the inspiration 🙌
Heck ya!!! 💪🏼💪🏼 how was it?
Your energy, the editing, the sense of humor, I’m loving this video already!! :)
14:14 this is what "discipline" really means. You go for it, you absolute unit, you!
I just recently ran across your channel and I love it. Motivating AF. Thanks for sharing! Looking forward to more
Really liking the vibes and the humor. I comment so the algo blesses you. Keep rocking it.
I appreciate it 🙌
Just popped to my rec, watched it and even today is my off Training day decided to go for a nice, one hour walk to listen some podcast instead of sitting on my couch all day. Thanks!
Hey so I just want to say that that final part where you said that you are glad to have a healthy body that can do all of this really hit me. I am struggling with quitting smoking and this may have been something that I needed to hear. Thank you!
Hope you quit, I struggled for a long time too, I quit soooooo many times, life’s a hundred percent better now that I’m not smoking.
That was truly beautiful! You're such a nice human being, and your voice is really relaxing. Tomorrow I will be starting my own 30 days of cardio! Thanks a lot xxx
randomly got this recommended and really loving your editing and attitude!! hope this blows up
Hey thanks! Me too 😜
You have a wonderful contagious smile! I absolutely love it and all emotions you express, so sincere! You are an inspiration!
The way I am obsessed with your style of this video and all of its content, I’m truly inspired and just love it all. Thank you so much for sharing and for being you xx.
Hey thanks, Abigail! I really appreciate it 🙌😄
You are very refreshing and a pleasure to spend time with! Thank you.
This was so motivating, I literally paused the video halfway through to go do 30 minutes of cardio and then came back and watched the rest when I was done.
I’ve resurrected an ol iPad to watch her videos over and over while on treadmill!
Proud of ya!
This was so inspirational! I’ve had a really rough past year health wise and I’m just starting to really become active again, and watching all of the different activities you tried out made me want to do the same. Amazing video 🎉
I love your enthusiasm! Also the place you live is so picturesque!
This is the first video of yours I've watched. I watch a ton of self-improvement videos, but this was unique and your personality is so sweet and fun! Instant subscribe! A positive perspective on something most people dread.
It was the scooby Doo dance for me 😂 I love this journey for you! Definitely something we should all do.
#bestmovieever
Love your attention to these lil’ details!!
I really loved your video. The style was very cool and it was inspirational. I love your energy and I hope that you stay motivated in everything that you do.☺️
I just found this channel and I have to say that I find Makari so fun and refreshing. This video in particular was interesting to me. I started doing aerobics at lunch at the start of the year because I work from home and was totally sedentary. It's really surprising but I actually enjoy it. Keep up the good work!
I love this!! It’s so motivating and so organic. You showed that you had days that you weren’t feeling it, but you still did! ❤
i love your energy, its really warm and inviting! not to mention im really glad that you included both positive and "negative" aspects where you sometimes feel AWESOME but sometimes feel a little down in the dumps but yet you still pushed through :') i commend you for that, it was really amazing to see you attempt this challenge! you nailed it
what the FU💫 I literally cried at this vid?? So positive and so adventurous. You noticed the joy of willie, rainy walks, biiiiiiiiiiiig stretches. And I am glad your dad is doing good
This comment is so kind! I’m really glad you enjoyed the video 🥰
Aweeee I enjoyed the same things!! So heartwarming!
as a dancer, from what you showed your moves look really nice and fluid, your lines and posture are good, you only looked awkward when you lacked the confidence to do the moves fully. it's amazing that it's your first time dancing! honestly im a bit jealous lol you smashed it
Why thank you 🙊💃🏼
Walking,running,hiking ,dancing,paintball!!that’s my spot😊😊😊❤
Wow, such a cool and motivating video, I love your personality and the way you edit!
Noooo to the sprained ankle. The WORST. Good luck with the healing and the low impact workouts.
Seriously... don't sleep on water aerobics 😏
This popped up out of nowhere and it is entertaining as heck! I don't even know this girl but I love this girl!
Ha! this was a great video! Your energy, editing, and delivery so solid. I particularly loved the basketball break... not the least because I also shot a basketball related TH-cam video on that SAME COURT... but like 3 years ago. Love your channel, you're killing.
You’re so brave. I am so afraid of heights most hikes/mountains just aren’t for me at all lol. Anywho, thanks for sharing.
I have chronic fatigue syndrone and as part of my recovery strategy daily I do visuals of me basically doing alot of these things. thanks for being my visualisation for the day :) it's so nice to see people not taking movement and health for granted and relishing each beautiful moment. ❤
Great philosophies to keep staying active fun! You captured in 20 minutes what took me years to learn. Glad to see you enjoying it in whatever the day's mood happens to be!
Wow! I rarely click on recommended videos and never leave comments, but I’m so glad to have found your channel! The Queer Eye video showed up in my feed and it was just so fun and wholesome, I immediately came to your channel to see more. I’m glad to have subscribed!
I'm glad you enjoyed it!! :)
Ahhh Makari I love your personality!!! I have watched this video so many times now whenever I want to feel positive and motivate myself! And a random note, your golf swing is crazy good if it is your first time playing haha
