I used to love downloading and playing Mugen fighters back in the early 2000s. This makes me want to get back into them. I recognize so many of the animations from other SNK and Capcom games.

This is amazing, it’s like the exaltation of each character in their most peak performance, it’s like Talent(Ryu) vs Genius(Ken), Ryu became the unstoppable wave from the vast ocean, while Ken became the most blazing fierce fire from a burning sun, they both trained Ansatsu Ken, and both became masters of the way.
I'm watching with my mouth open, and realizing what makes this on a different level. It's not the added moves, or all the other phenomenal work done here.... it's the dashes and teleports... it brings the battle to the next level 💪 💯 👌🏼 well done.
Ken has won against Ryu a couple times in official Street Fighter manga and anime. If anything, them meeting like this would be the part that rattles the fan base. What with Ryu always on the move travelling and adventuring and learning, and Ken being a family man lol.

I remember the difference in quality being why I never really adopted mugen. Finding the perfect set of balanced fighters was always a chore. I'd only play this if they had a full roster on this level as not only do I like to choose a bunch of different fighters but I would like a challenge while I'm at it.

Ken's particle effects randomly changed in one round from fire to white, I assume that was an install but otherwise it seemed like the animator didn't remember what particles to use for Ken's animations. Also Ken's super's tended to vary compared to Ryu's.
Looks more like Violent Ken than Ken to me. Btw, SFIII Ken body in my opinion looks better, more buffed and mean than Capcom Vs. SNK. You can clearly see the body muscles proportions with Ryu, he looks so massive and wide next to skinny Ken...

Love the added non-super combos, I never expected to see so many details of karate blocks and strikes in sprite animation.
Stylistically, they are the best versions especially Ryu looks great. Devs should adopt their styles for future versions.
