Very informative and detailed video. The only thing I do differently is I build smart previews and 1:1 previews. :) Cheers. Waiting for Part 2 and 3.

Thanks for your feedback. Building the smart previews and 1:1 previews will certainly speed up your editing and make it more convenient if you’re away from home base. Lightroom is really good at providing custom options for different needs and workflows.

The benro head I use for photography is the N00P: benrousa.com/benro-n00p-ballhead/. It is light and simple. It works really well with the ARCA type camera L brackets as well as coming with a quick release. The advantage of the ARCA L bracket is you can flip from horozontal to vertical orientation quickly and the weight is still balanced over the centre of the tripod.
I'm not that familiar with Capture One but I know some of my collegues prefer it as a RAW processing software.

I have a qnap nas device. Qnap has an App you can install that does backup to their cloud. Also your qnap should be setup as a raid System so a loss of Disk does not cause loss of the entire system. I can lose 1 disks in my qnap system

Thanks for the info. I did look into using Qnap backup service but it is going to cost me about $US600 per year for the amount of storage I need. Backblaze costs me a around $US130 per year for unlimited storage. I will keep seeing if I can make QNAP backup work because it would be the most seamless solution. I do have my QNAP nas set up as a raid drive so there is some backup protection there. I really like how a NAS acts as one single huge hard drive so I don't have to have to split related data over several hard drives. Prior to the NAS, I had about 7 hard drives attached.
