This video should go viral!!! You are one incredibly determined hard worker Dan. I would never have believed such a thing was even possible. Bravo!!!!!!
Thanks I was determined to get it only thing I didn’t account for was traffic lights hanging so low. The drive home with it on the trailer was the hardest part.
Homes are build different make sure base of home is solid and watch for shifting. This was my first time doing this and I did it the cheap way I even returned the boards to Lowe’s when I was finished haha
..... well done Dan, slow and steady gets er done .... that's a good looking shed, you going to shelve it up before you start making piles on the floor and it is full before you know it .... that car jack sure worked well .... job well done ..... have fun be safe, save our oceans .......
oh my lands dan! you had my heart racing when i seen it start falling and boards bending when jacking it up. Im glad you're ok, but please try to have help next time. even just a person to be a spotter. you crazy dude! :) Happy thanksgiving to you and britt too!
cant lie here I WAS WORRIED ABOUT YOU TWO. havent seen you post for a few. glad your ok, not sick or hurt or any thing. I think you have a angel up there looking out for you. Good job, but you need to be careful.
Hi Dan Enjoyed your video moving the shed an admired your patience and level head when figuring everything out.Watch your videos all the time and say Bi to Britt please. J
Hey Dan I give you a lot of credit doing this all by yourself you take after your dad that is a lot of work I’m so glad that you got it home safely and you did not get hurt 😘👍
Take it slow don’t rush. If using a personal trailer have the main door face backwards due to wind pressure will push it inwards if facing forward. Strap it down good and know the hight traffic lights hang low I have to swerve around them. Also install a 2x4 in the inside about 3 feet from main door to give shed more stability while transporting home. These are a few things I didn’t do and it almost cost me losing the shed.
I'm glad your wife wasn't there . I was scared too death a couple times mys4elf I actually screamed at the computer. Not sure if your Brave or Crazy haha determined for sure.So glad you got it done safely. Great job.
That was pretty cool moving that shed.. the jenga king lol Next time use the large concrete blocks, or go to the hire shop and hire like 3 more jacks.. or borrow from others. On the safe side 6 jacks would of be good. Glad your safe and got it home.
I need one or two more but I have 2 car garage two stories filled, two sheds filled, a warehouse 3 times the size of my garage filled, my downstairs family room in house filled. I’m past the point of having a garage sale I’m at the point where this is an addiction and I have a hoarding and buying problem
I need to move a DIY 12x20 shed that sits on several piers. I need to build a 20x30 garage so must move it 70ft to the North and turn it 90 degrees. The shed has about 2000 lbs of junk in there.
I wouldn’t try to move it while theirs stuff in there due to it could fall apart. Not to mention a lot more dangerous then how I moved this shed but I got lucky it was dark while I was heading home due to I moved this about 20 miles to my house
@@talldan121 its been 9 months and I still have to move the shed lol. I have a vacant lot about 1/4 mile away where I can store it for later to repurpose the lumber for the shop. Times have been tuff but I really want to build the 24x30 metal building to use as my welding shop.
Biting my nails, Dan! I know you are very independent but, gee, get help. Maybe a flat top tow truck would have done the job. My son in law has helped with things like that and delivered them just like a car
Moving A 16X10 FOOT SHED ALONE!!! what could go wrong? Brother' You worked harder than any man should have ever had to work for a simple move, You just didn't take the time to think' Before you stared, You bought the wrong lumber, Cut more pieces than a fireplace uses all year for kindling' Left the jack in the center front while pushing it back with your truck' and raised the building up way higher than you ever needed to, My Brother passed on Aug 29th 2021 and I got all the tools out of his 8 by 8 tool shed' Now I have to move the building about a half a block' wish me luck' I'll need it' ( " , )
ChannelMerch Don't Leave Cash on the Table didn’t buy the blocks is was extra wood I have at the house had to buy the 16 ft 4x4 to lift shed and after you can return then if Un damaged and with receipt also wasn’t going for more efficient was going for cheapest
I can, move my 12x16 building by myself! Thanks for the ideas.
That was amazingly helpful!!!

@@talldan121 Doesn't matter what your voice sounds like dude, it's what you accomplished single handed!!!!!

JENGA BIAAAATCH LOL. I laugh, but only because I can feel that pain 😬 You stuck with it and figured it out. Nobody got hurt. So it’s a win!
I had to watch this twice- all by yourself! Very Impressive man, very.
Thanks I was determined to get it only thing I didn’t account for was traffic lights hanging so low. The drive home with it on the trailer was the hardest part.
@Tall Dan Well you made man, thanks for sharing. The lights I did not even think about that. Congratulations on getting your shed.
I have a tiny home I want to move to another side of my yard and this video was very helpful in seeing how things are done. Thanks.

THANK GOD YOUR OK ...I HAVE MISSED YU GUYS ..... CANT WAIT TO WATCH YOU PLACE THAT THING LOL DAN YOU PUT GRAY HAIRS ON ME LOL
Hahaha my mom says the same thing but I had to think of something due to it would have cost way to much for a tow truck to come pick it up
Dude well done!
glad you made it home safely!
I always learn something from your videos. Today I learn to not buy a shed on Facebook. LOL
:-( i thought I did a awesome job moving it I didn’t even get squashed
You did a great job moving that shed by yourself.
Good job man ..👍😎

The rain made it dangerous but I was determined to get it done
This was 2 yrs ago. I'm sure u figured that ciderblocks work best. I did it the same way using them.
I didn’t have any and was trying to use what I had cheapest way possible
@@talldan121 I'm lookin to take 2 8x10 and butt them into a 8x20. X my fingers
The one I picked up was a lot bigger then that so I don’t think you will have a problem
Great work good watch
Thanks tried my best

Stephen yeh more jacks would of helped a lot but worked with what I had haha
Omg! Scary
Where is he from?
How many sheds you need I think you need to have a garage sale wow!

Mad Resspect! What jack was that? Nice 3 piece handle.
Was just useing a 2 ton car jack
What size trailer are you using
16 by 7 foot
First Rate Work
Yes, don't ever use a single 2 x 4 as a jack post. Ask me how I know
Good job wish i helped ya
Billy Bird at Birds automotive wrightstown has a shed moving trailer
I feel like a come-along would have saved you 30 mins
not shabby only took 23 mins to load up lol
Simon Needle took 2 hrs and 34 mins but I didn’t think people would want to watch that long of a video lmao
Biting my nails, Dan! I know you are very independent but, gee, get help. Maybe a flat top tow truck would have done the job. My son in law has helped with things like that and delivered them just like a car
Sheila Stewart they wanted over $300 to move it to my house

I never did it before and jack was left there on purpose due to I didn’t want it dragging on rails so jack just rolled on trailer
You remind me of someone I know...........LOL,,,Someone who didn't know when to stop working........
OMG PLEASE BE CAREFUL, HOPE THIS IS VERY CLOSE TO YOUR HOME ....
It was about 45 mins from home but took two hours to get home due to was only doing 30 mph
I WOULD HAVE BEEN SCARED I WOULD OF TAKEN WIRES DOWN AND MAIL BOXES LOL
Just swing by Home Depot pick up a few helpers.
Why buy blocks? Why not just rent Stable Lifts from an Equipment Rental Store? Would be Quicker and more efficient.
ChannelMerch Don't Leave Cash on the Table didn’t buy the blocks is was extra wood I have at the house had to buy the 16 ft 4x4 to lift shed and after you can return then if Un damaged and with receipt also wasn’t going for more efficient was going for cheapest
That is totally not the kind of job you want to be doing by yourself you need to be more careful Dan
Omg 🤦♀️I can’t believe no one helped you! Where was Dave!
