We enjoyed another great advantage of Pico today. We took the ferry to Faial - we spent a lovely day with our friends there. And took the last ferry back to Pico in the evening.
Journey time one way: approx. 30 minutes; price: €3.80 per person per way. Wonderful!

Not sure if you saw the whole video, we explain that this type of tourism has very little negative impact on the designated area and the island. This is why we choose this type of build, not the high footprint way of cement. From our experience, this village is thriving. Take care!
