We are wanting to come to Pico in April 2025. We were in Sao Miguel last April/May as well as Madeira. We are trying to find flights and wondered which airline you would recommend. There doesn't seem to be any direct flights from Toronto.
I consider to be a good fit to be part of the group imagining and realizing in an organic way through embassadors a glamping tourism/community in Pico island, Azores. I'd like to know more about it. Greetings from The Hague, Cristina
I go every year to Pico from Toronto and the only flights are Azores Airlines/Sata via connections from the other Islands. The connections from Sao Miguel or Terciera are easy and fast flights (30 mins or so). Gives you an opportunity to see more of the Azores if you select a longer connection. There are talks with local government on Pico on extending the runway to accept long haul flights from North America. My understanding is that it was approved but stalled in bureaucracy.
Thanks very much for sharing. I am definitely interested in getting more info on this 👍🌹🌹🌹
That is awesome. Can you send me an email, this way I can put you on the project info list. Regards!

Azores Airlines flies nonstop from Toronto to Ponta Delgada.
