Because of the Dry Brush nature of SlapChop I tink the Dwarves and Lizardmen would be the best to do next. I would avoid Necromantic and Darkelves, both are a nightmare to build and have a lot of flat areas not great for drybrushing.

Use toothpick with paint for lines instead of tape. And paint more, they look cool!😊

If you paint the thin side of a popsickle stick white or whatever and press it down on the grass you can make easy field lines! I’m definitely using this painting method for my bb teams.

I still have my Blood Bowl set from 1988 or '89, with the polystyrene Astro-granite pitch. I played Chaos All-Stars and Reikland Reavers.
2nd edition with that pitch was the best version, loads of fun and didn't take itself too seriously
Blood Bowl is my all time favourite game. I look forward to seeing you build that stadium and hopefully some more BB things.
It does seem like a fun game and I guess it was just the fact of having to paint the miniatures that put me off when I brought the box a year ago lol 🙂

Already taken part in 2 Blood Bowl leagues and currently playing my 3rd one. I main Nurgle Rotbringers, but got myself an Ork team too which will be the next one i'll try :)

Great looking models. Blood bowl is a great game. Looking forward to seeing your nobility team. The ogre and snotling teams have been the teams I've had the most fun painting
Have you considered to add the color red to resemble blood? This could be easily done to their gloves by masking them off with paper and using a medium brush. Splatter the red by rubbing the brush bristles with your finger to transfer the color onto the mini.
I think with the blood bowl pitch I am going to add some blood splatter 🙂

Currently, I'm playing Chaos Dwarves. I've played almost all teams, except Snotling and Vampires and Halflings and Underworld. So, what you've painted here are Black Orcs. Veeery brutal team who don't much care about the ball ;) On the opposing side of the spectrum are Elves, with Wood Elves having the greatest proclivity for Touch-downs :D I tend to play a team I like the minis of.
Find and paint the Orc Cheerleader... Also remembe paint pink before yellow!
They are the cheerleaders I want and yes I will be trying a pink first, 3 coats of contrast paint seemed a bit too much but I was happy with the end result 🙂
Would you mind shearing some light on just what type of brushes you prefer to use for drybrushing (I mean make up ones, harder ones?)?

Looking forward to the stadium - so many possibilities for Bloow Bowl stadiums with a vast amount of character. Love the Lizardmen stadiums I've seen on Reddit for example.

For a vibrant yellow you could paint a base pink/magenta, dry brush with white and then the yellow contrast
Yeah I need to try that next time, this was my first time using that yellow, Im pleased how it looks in the end but 3 coats did seem a bit too much lol 🙂
i use slap chop on most of my models, and then i paint a few the more painful traditional way, which is fun only because i dont use that method all that often
Blood bowl is the greatest game, having someone talk you through it would be most helpful when you first start.
I would highly recommend watching the bonehead podcast for each team you are looking to use as Ben will explain strengths and weaknesses.
How is it for people who don't like american football?
@@Silver803 I would say half the people I play with have no interest in any real sport, yet they love Blood Bowl.
The American football connection is more the aesthetic than game play.

@@MiniatureHobbyist plus one box of figures and you have options unlike it's big brother. You generally need to buy two boxes to get a good team
Nice job and good video. Got the Army Painter Speedpaints and can't wait to see what i can do with them. I'm a decent (not fantastic) painter and I'm really wondering how much of a difference they'll make for me.
With magnetized arms, a lot of Blood Bowl models can be used in Mordheim/Kill Team. Just swap out your empty hands for choppaz, sluggaz, and shootaz depending on which game you're playing!

Your videos continue to be a source of great of not only enjoyment, but also relaxation. It is almost mesmerizing watching the paint flow into place over that crisp slap-chop goodness. I recently found about these blood bowl orcs and i really love their design. I have been thinking about kit bashing them into 40k instead of the regular boyz. Maybe even kill 2 birds with 1 stone and use them for both, blood bowl and kill team.

What size make up brushes do you use to dry brush?
How do you know what is the right about paint on the first grey dry brush phase of the slaprchop?
I guess it all comes down to what you think is right and trying out different amounts until you get to where you are happy 🙂

It may be a case of trial and error until you get it how you like it 🙂
Did you use any wash after? On the last video look much darker and dirtier than on the paint process video
I don't like how the leather gloves and the metal armor are the same color. It makes them seem like the same material.
If you are getting into blood bowl l would highly recommend, looking up the bonehead podcast
Massive improvement in the quality of your painting. As for the teams if you want to win games. You’d better look into the players statistics as. Skaven aren’t the best players due to their low statistics but their fun to play with. Plus GW have new star players with great potential and stats Jon
