On this Ending Explained, we're digging into the twist ending of Ouija 2: Origin of Evil as well as exploring its main connections to the first film (Ouija)
It wasn't a demon, it was one of the warped evil spirits inhabiting the house. One entered her and possessed her body, and after that all the others followed. Everytime you see her with her mouth wide open, that's one more evil spirit slipping into her body.
There´s just one little thing: At the end of Ouija 2 (spoilers by the way) we see Doris getting up and being greeted by her dead father. Later, the mother, also has a vision of her husband and daughter waiting for her. So, does that mean that the "Doris" Lina has been communicating with at the hospital is not the "real Doris" but rather the entity still posing as her? Because the Doris, that got up and went with her father, seemed normal and cured to me.
doris' spirit is with her dad. tho the body is still there, lina played alone breaking the first rule as what Doris used to do that got her possessed, probably the same reason lina turned evil (at the second movie, helping her sister to be free), the spirit might used doris' body at it is still there, but still with stitches
Rival Chan the old lady at the end is Lina. Laine, the girl in the first movie, posed to be her Lina's niece to get information on her family and the board.
I don't think the doctor was the demon, I think the whole reason the spirits were looking for voices is because the doctor removed their voice boxes and sewed their mouths shut, so it'd make more sense for the evil spirits to be patients.
I thought in the movie it was said that some of the spirits were victims and some were never living to begin with. I thought it was a demon who possessed her? And I always thought Marcus was just a victim.
I think it was revealed - as the Father was giving a summary of Marcus' journal entry - that Marcus had been trapped in the dark with all the other dead spirits, along with other evil entities who were never human to begin with, and that over time they took Marcus over... So ultimately I'd interpret the "demon" as sort of an amalgam of all those that died (likely including the Nazi doctor since he did live there), along with the inhuman forces present. That said, having the doctor be the physical representation of all that evil makes makes sense to me, as it was the doctor who was responsible for all the dark acts in life, in his physical form (played by Doug Jones).
on imdb (idk if true or not) it says that doris actually died when the demon entered her body. due to the unnatural spine position. that actually makes some sense
Bro, whenever he said the board shows what we're thinking, I thought of the name Samantha, and then this mans says "Samantha". It freaked me the fuck out,
I think Doris' spirit ended somehow to be 'clean' as we can see that she went away with her dead father in a scene. But her body was used as a somewhat "vessel" for the vengeful spirits.
I don't think Doris is doomed to be an evil spirit forever at all. At the end of the prequel her spirit appears back to normal and reunited in peace with her parents. I think the evil spirits simply choose to continue to mimic the identity of Doris after her spirit was free to rejoin her father (and also her mother too joining them).
it’s sad when you think about it, the adorable girl Doris, gets possessed and dies. In my opinion I think this is one of the saddest things in horror movies.
Unexpectedly, after the last scene of the first movie where Laine finds the planchette AGAIN after they have burnt the Doris's body and the Ouija board, they release a PREQUEL instead of the SEQUEL that is logically intended in this last scene of the first movie. I think that evil spirits are still in that house and there MAY BE a third part😲
Likes aren't related to money at all. they do help with how often TH-cam shows videos to unrelatred things though. The more likes video has the higher it shows up in searches and thte like. i suppose you could say it helps you get viewed which then helps you get more ads or something but its not at all a direct correlation.
Thank you for making these it's very entertaining. Plus you do it without the commercials. I can turn one on and hear a full episode uninterrupted and I really do appreciate that.
What I don't understand is the fact that Roger came to get his wife and Doris. The spirits also talk about vessels. Which makes me think that the spirit that terrorized everyone in the first movie wasn't actually Doris. That she moved on. But that her body was the vessel and stitching up her mouth took away the spirits' voice. So they couldn't influence anyone. And that Alice stayed to keep the spirits from using her daughter's body again. By making sure her body stayed hidden and the stitches stayed in place. I also wonder if aside from being gifted Lina was the better vessel because she was like a sleeper. Being able to act convincingly normal even though she was possessed. Not usually possessed/easy to control enough to be in direct control of the spirits like Doris was but enough that she could influence others. I think the thing that made Lina vulnerable and open to the spirits basically for eternity was her love for Doris. And I think she convinced herself at some point like their mother had that Doris was still Doris. That she had a gift. Instead of her spirit possibly no longer being around and her body instead having been taken over completely by dark spirits. I think it was what allowed her to survive her trauma. Her coping mechanism. It's why she forgot. She made herself forget that by the end Doris was actually dead. And that what was left was no longer her sister. It's what allowed the spirits to cling to her even after everything, I think. It's what made her contact "Doris". Her way of not being alone because she had Doris. She had to convince herself that it was their mother who was evil and not Doris. She had to forget that she was the one who actually stitched Doris' mouth shut. Because it was too painful to remember and would mean that she was alone, without her family. All of which worked out perfectly for the spirits. Because in this entire family's case including with Lina "keeping the loved one alive" or wanting desperately to believe they still were in some level and there, be it Roger or Doris was what allowed the dark spirits control.
the definition of graveyard is a burial ground. a burial ground is a area of ground set aside for the burying of human bodies. doesn’t matter where it is as long as it is a particular area with human bodies.
It’s probably even worse than your standard graveyard because the ground is un-consecrated (not blessed/prepared for burials), and the dead received no funerary rites or grave markers.
I don't get why Doris's soul is evil if she's with her family in the after life. That part did not make sense. Plus why did her eyes go white if she's a spirit in the end?
I watched those two movies so far apart that I never realized the connections, nice!! The first one did suck so I had low expectations for this one however it was SO much better than the first.
You're a lying sack of sh*t Marcus, I saw you being like that yesterday! Goddamn child-possessing spooky tar-demon.. And I'm not buying that "Oh, I was just a bit too drunk!" crap either.
X700 Drama Coraline does have theories. However I think that he would be a good person to make one. The girl that did the other Coraline theory was super annoying but it also made sense.

I think the spirit of Marcus is supposed to be of the tortured Polish guy. In the pages Doris writes, he mentions that the doctor either cut out there tongues or sewed their mouth shut. Something like that, because he mentions not being able to scream for help when the doctor has parties upstairs. It's the lack of a voice which drives the patients mad and would make sense why they are so eager to have a voice.
the little girl who played doris absolutely NAILED that role! she was so CREEPY yet cute , So much talent!

Aiyoh! "...and no one in the movie EVER says goodbye!" Just super convenient! Thanks, you make it so much more (tolerable) than the story turns out!
I've watched a few of your videos and I have, for some reason, never noticed you have a Castiel Pop figure!
Horror movies these days are about killers, ghosts, and dolls. But what is scarier than running out of food in your refrigerator 😱😱
This was honestly a major upgrade to the first. Im surprised at how good this kgoie was
