    I want to say,
I honestly appreciate and respect all of these women and men who come on youtube making videos about food prep, saving money etc......
You do not understand, not just during saving money, but also during hard times.
Like you do not understand that you are also saving people's lives.

I’M a bachelor and do 80% of my cocking in a crock pot. Jenn keeps it simple and easy with basic ingredients. Her videos are short and to the point. Please do more slow cooker videos Jenn as I have made everything you have on line numerous times. Pork Chops, drumsticks and steak recipes would be great. Following Jenn’s recipes are the easiest and best on you tube !

      Hey Ryan. good for you.
i got one easy for you.
Thickness of pork chops makes a difference.use medium to thick, butt
these melt in your mouth. rinse 4 chops ( or
kyd go probly up to 8) lay on paper towel,
mix garlic powder, salt n pepper, dry mustard ( it's a spice you should have) lol & bout 1/4 cup unbleached flour. use low flat bowl,
cover chops in this mixture, add oil to fry pan, braise ( sautee)
      chops til litely brown.
put all in crock pot. pour a can of chicken& rice soup over it all.
if you're cooking more then 5chops , do 2 cans.
Lid on... Go... 4 to 5, 6 hours.. Done. put on mashed taters or rice.
      or not . 😊
      . Men luv this.

So I made this for my son and his family. My son and granddaughter loved it and said they want me to make it again. My grumpy grandson (he’s 15) ate a full plate then asked for more and then described it as “just ok”. 😁💗

I made this today when I invited my brother and his wife for dinner. I used thighs instead of breasts, but it was incredibly easy and incredibly delicious. My house smelled like Thanksgiving. We live in Mexico and 10 out of 12 months are so hot that using an oven isn’t even a consideration. I try to find meals I can make in a crockpot or air fryer to keep the house cooler. This was a big hit!

Made this last night and it was so good! My eight month old grandson did a lil dance when I gave him some...lol. I added a layer of sliced onion at the bottom and also a teaspoon of poultry seasoning and a teaspoon of sage to the mixture along with a lil butter with warmed up chicken broth before adding sour cream. That's all I did different. Barely any leftovers for my husband's lunch! Son is very very picky unfortunately (autism-texture) he left nothing on his plate. Thanks!!

I’m making this tonight! I lost my mom a few years ago and she made something similar to this and when I saw this online it made me so happy. You talk about those smells and I can tell you those smells bring back so many great memories of my mother cooking in her kitchen. I miss her everyday but every now and then I try to do something like this and it brings me such joy. Thank you. Also I was going to ask do you think it would be ok to put potatoes in it or probably not?

Stay blessed :) and also going to take your advice with the potatoes I used them with a pork loin last night while I think goes much better ! Oh btw I’m about to make it was it 12oz of cream of chicken I got a family size can 22oz so prob about half huh and I am sorry so many questions but what heat would you do this on low if it’s for 7 hours?

    • @whenwithjenn

I'm going out today to buy two crackpots, one for me and one for my daughter-in-law, sweet Katrina! Then I'm gonna take her out to the food store and we're gonna buy two of everything needed to make this delicious chicken and stuffing dinner I just watched! I can't wait I'm so excited to get this done and feed my family this new recipe. Thanks many times for sharing 👩‍🍳

@@whenwithjennIts exciting, yes it is! Anytime I find an easy and delicious new recipe for my little family and it's easier for me to make I'm grateful on many levels! As a 100% disabled Navy Veteran for close to 40 years now I'm
unable to stand or walk for extended amounts of time or distance because of severe chronic pain in my left leg and foot and most of my lower back and hips! I require daily morphine in an effort to reduce at least some of the pain. Also, I'm now in the process of looking online for a new pressure cooker and crockpot and when I find them I'll be buying two of each items. I'll be keeping one of each for myself and the others are for my one and only new daughter in law, sweet Katrina! She is only 28 years old and I'm 60 and I'm teaching her how to cook being that my son loves good food! So, yes, I am very interested in anymore new ideas and videos of recipes that you have made. If you could please forward me the information I'd be very grateful and I thank you for your helping me. It means a lot to me and I'm eager to get started with your tasty looking recipes that I think my family will enjoy! Obviously I have to find those pots first! Thank you so much for sharing, I'm forever grateful and God bless you and yours!

I've made this about 4 times now, since watching this video a few months ago.
I had the idea hit me tonight, for the 5th time, make a pouch of the instant mashed potatoes and layer that under the stuffing mix.
If like me, and forget you don't have sour cream, you can always use Ranch dressing in place of the sour cream.

I baked this dish in the oven because i don't have a crockpot... it was delicious. I ate it for 3 days now! Be sure to cut up your skinless chicken in chunks then add to bottom of a greased pan. Double the stuffing bcuz it's sooo good and add in a 1/4 cup of melted butter (trust me) then spread it over the chicken. There's plenty of awesome seasoning in the stuffing mix so no worries. Bake at 375 for an hour and cover with foil (a must otherwise topping is yucky).Remove foil for the last 20 minutes to get the top kind of browned yummy. P.S. after reading the other comments, I'm going to try making the stuffing without the sour cream and cream of soup, less calories yay!

Great recipe! I love using my crockpot (especially during the colder months). With the exception of the chicken stock, what would you suggest as a substitute for the cream of chicken soup? I ask because I am of the age where I really have to be mindful of my sodium intake. Otherwise, this looks like a yummy dish. Thanks.

    • @whenwithjenn
      @whenwithjenn  5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

Thank you! You can leave the soup out and maybe add 1/4 cup more chicken broth mixed with a tsp of cornstarch. I would just taste for seasoning. Or if you can find it, I have seen and used low sodium cream of chicken soup.

Billy T She used low sodium soup. I,too, must watch it, and am shocked at how much is in everything. Using fresh mushrooms, cut celery, and low sodium chicken stock or broth might do it. I’d throw in some onions, also.

I made a similar version recently and my chicken was dry. My version dumped the dry stuffing on top of the chicken and then the wet ingredients were mixed together and layered on top. Your version mixes the wet ingredients with the stuffing and I think that would help keep the chicken from drying out. It tasted yummy! I bought a can of cranberry sauce to add on the side and it tasted like Thanksgiving. Thanks for sharing! :)
