Im pretty sure thats art submitted by the community until the actual final art is made by the devs. So yeah, is mostly memes.

Wow, less than two minutes and I'm already astonished at the horrible misplay of removing a strike instead of your curse.
At least you got lucky and removed it right after that.

My god same. Rejecting a card then thinning his deck at the start. Choosing to remove a strike card when he has a curse card. It hurts.
Tom's channel isn't really about being good at games. It's a lot more entertaining if he fucks up.
if you get the blood vial you want to keep your strikes because if you meet the vampires they'll upgrade them to bites and they become pretty sweet.
I know you said you don’t like scry, but it can be super powerful if you get cards that go into your hand when they’re discarded from your deck. I formed a deck around that and blasted through the bosses.
this is one of my favorite steam games.. i have played so much... glad tom is playing it, calming slay the spire is great

Does runic pyramid interact with establishment. Wouldnt that just give you like infinite free cards..
Its doesnt retain the cards, it stop them discarding. Keyword is missing so no, sadly not.
It's really important to add cards to your deck that give you block. If you'd done more of that instead of skipping card additions, and you'd only used one Battle Hymn at a time, and maybe taken the item that makes you not discard your hand every turn (thus residing the cost of all the cards every turn) you might've actually been fine.

Its a pretty damn good game. You wouldn't think it just looking at. just wait till you're good at the game and then come back to see Toms misplays and have a hard time watching

I just enjoy these slay the spire videos a lot! I'd like it if you would play more of it, or at least when this character gets outta beta.
The monk might have been bulletproof but too bad the enemies weren't using bullets. RIP in peace.

No because only cards with the retain keyword get the discount. I thought it was gonna be great but it just super bloated my hand.
