Man idk if it's just me, but I still find it crazy that they aced gameplay which is a hard thing to do (HARDER THAN STORY) and they just drop the ball so hard on the story for this game. I have been seeing for most games the story is just eh or ok now most of the time. Why is that? After research I have found out why and.....I just hope we can sooner or later go back to the era of fun and good games again. (ALSO HEY JOLTZ )
I really hate to say this. but after seeing that newer ish tales from bd game and how.....yeah, I just don't see BL4 being good at all story wise. I will bet half my life savings that the story will be hot air baloon cheeks.
How do you remember all the skips from when you played before? I have almost a thousand hours on this game and knew none of the skips you did.

Fun Fact: The distance that the sawbar splits is based off its scope, that's why scoped sawbars are seen as bad.

I'm actually really glad to see you play bl3 again, bl2 is nice and all but it gets a bit repetitive after a while. Just hope you have fun playing and not forcing it for content
I really wish we would’ve gotten at least one dlc character for this game. I think there was a lot they could’ve done.
I’m still holding out hope that one or two comes to hype the community about the new game closer to launch. They won’t want it too close as that might distract from the launch itself but it would be a nice way to build some good will after… the incident

Yeah Exodus was pretty much THE TPS mod
I like how each of the main 3 borderlands games has a progressively more powercrept “go invisible” action skill
The free anointment reroll is the biggest one for me here, that was the main thing keeping me from even trying to do any end game stuff, just the amount of time I spent farming and rerolling for one character made me refuse to do it for any others
It’s definitely a thin line between just grindy enough and too grindy in borderlands
Finding out about item farming was the best part of bl2 for me, still remember the first time I did lyuda and veruc farm I kept going till I filled my inventory cause I was so excited about getting more legendaries. Then in bl3 I was leaving 2-3 on the ground on a good farm, really took the magic away
I actually enjoy the laid back style of this run! It’s cool to see a more chill aspect to your playthrough rather than the stress some of the harder challenges bring. Looking forward to this playthrough!
God last time BL3 was on this channel I wasn't crippled now I'm back at uni on a crutch, times a mad old thing.

i like that world drops can be removed, but part of the game was getting a few of the kajillion legendaries in bl3 without farming for them. once a world drop rate scaler comes out, i’ll be using it

I like how they cared so little about the borderlands move, that even after so long of it being out in cinema and now for digital viewing, it still says on the Bl3 menu in New, Borderlands movie trailer out now!

It is actually great to see BL3 back on the channel. I’m replaying it after 3 years. And never finished DLC due to performance on base PS4 and I’ve finally upgraded and going to complete it. It and Wonderlands are over-hated (Wonderlands is its own thing though and shouldn’t necessarily be treated like a mainline game).

I always find it impressive how on point Mr joltz’s borderlands parkour skills are, even on a game he hasn’t played in years.
I like how other games mods are to add in tons of additional content and Borderlands mods are "strip the game into streamlined repetitive farming and take out dialogue and selling to stores". I'm glad Gearbox listens to casual fans too because I'd like an actual game along with the farming lol.

Absolutely loved the dialogue skip and reduce visual pollution mods on my recent replay.
Also the auto-sell gameplay option from Gearbox was huge for a money grubber like me.

Happy to see BL3 again, I don't mind the no world drops mod as I do understand your point of view on the subject but I would like to see it be more on BL2's level where it still does happen just less frequently cause it's always a fun moment. All in all though, can't wait to see you do some more content on this game.
I genuinely hope this playthrough reignites a love for BL3 in you.
I may not like BL 3's story much, but the gameplay is still fun, and mods fix the story issue with all the skips you can do, so I'm excited.

If you want to see some funny ragdolls. turn off gore in the krieg dlc when fighting the bullet riding psychos. they start spinning like crazy XD

I had a thought for an option to keep a cost to rerolls but negate the gambling aspect.
It might be possible to make it cost some amount to put an item into the reroller, but no cost per roll. So 250 to start and that is all unless you exit with something and change your mind.

Hey, neat, Joltz getting into modded BL 3 is something fun to see.
Random recommendation: Apocalyptechs "Enemy equip all" mod is good fun.
It expands the pool enemies can draw from so that they can have literally any gun that fits their chosen weapon type. Makes it quite a bit harder from time to time when a mod spawns with a RYNAH or Backburner but it balances out by also sometimes giving them very short range "flamethrower"-esqu weapons.
I'd also always run Apocalyptechs "Mega timesaver" as it just speeds up any at all things that you click on by a factor of x5 or so. Think ammo boxes, elevators, doors, that sorta thing.
I rebooted bl3 last month and got a magie from a Chubby at level 3

Glad to see bl3 back the mods really do make it more bearable. Hope bl2 stuff isn't totally off the menu for a bit though. Wouldn't mind a krieg run after this one wraps up
