But what really intrigues me is the Tracy Wiggington case, because it reminds me of a TV plot that I've seen before: back in the 90s, the old vampire/cop show "Forever Knight" did an episode about a young woman with multiple personalities . . . only one of which was a vampire. I find myself now wondering if the writers had heard of this case, and how much influence it had on their ideas.
They are also speculating whether more people in general could age to be a 100+ years old in this century. If we're not killed before that by AI or global warming, that is. 😅

I still believe that although he absolutely knew the murders were wrong by societal standards to him in his sick mind they were justified or necessary! He was definitely an interesting character!

I talked to the shrinks at the va hospital if they knew They did I ask why they had not informed me as I was his legal guardian. He had worse mental issues. They ask me if I would have continued to help him I said well yeah he's my brother and I love him. They were jerks He had 3 separate identities and could Check into a federal hospital using all 4 names he went by.

Rather than a paranoid schizophrenic, if you delve deeper into his lifestyle and mental state (particularly his beliefs regarding his biology and physicality) it seems much more likely that alcohol and drugs contributed to psychosis. Psychosis for a long enough period with people then later diagnosed as schizo-affective disorder is often described as (the alcohol+drug psychosis) amplifying a (schizo-affective) mental problem. However, as if this wasn't bad enough, I believe Chase had 'Cotard Delusion' - which is an almost perfect explanation for why he held such beliefs as his organs being stolen, his blood needing to be constantly replaced etc etc. Look the delusion up here or on Wikipedia.
