There was a film shown at a small film festival in 2019 that was based upon the Hill case. If I recall, the filmmaker was making an attempt at a “humorous” Tarantino-style film. Besides not being a good film, I found it garish and tasteless. It reminded me of something a pubescent boy would’ve thought a great idea. Soooo during Q & A with the filmmaker, I stood and asked if he had permission/rights to the stories of these real-life crime victims or their survivors to butcher them again on-screen in what he intended to be a comedic horror film, _and_ why he thought what happened during such a horrific crime was so entertaining in the first place. First story, thing about modeling: when I started (non-adult) modeling around fifteen years ago, it wasn't too scary, but people will get you worried out of care. But you also can't be naive. Luckily there is a lot of research one can put into a photographer now. Please do it if you don't have an agency and are starting out. Do it for your safety but also to know if it's going to be beneficial for all involved. This will not always keep you safe, but it may help. Also, about chaperones, many photographers are annoyed or even insulted by this if you're an adult. These tag-alongs can be distracting during a shoot, and some photographers feel it makes them look bad before you even start. I'm sure it's still a highly controversial topic. Do what you must, though. You may also arrange a ride with a very dependable person, and find a way to let the photographer know about the arrangement beforehand. Don't leave the site without your ride knowing. Adult photography seems to be an unsurprisingly sketchy area. I know someone who works behind the camera in it. She seems to use networking skills to get models. It is probably better for all because neither party is just meeting complete strangers from who knows where. Pursue your interests, but wisely and stay safe. These horror stories aren't normal, but don't forget they are very real.

@@Tijggie82 it’s not a matter of wanting to diminish the industry, whatever that means. This is definitely a big topic, but yeah porn is very dangerous for the consumer. It is literally meant as a form of mind control and it is working. Look how many sex addicted people there are in our country and world. I have nothing against folks that choose to engage in sex work, there are many jobs within that industry but I do feel very sad for them. It’s almost like you’re saying that those folks aren’t capable of doing any other type of work though, like I imagine you think these people say, “oh, the only way I can make money is by taking a bunch of viagra and mounting over spray tanned women every day”. I feel like there are a million other career choices people can make but the folks that do sex work want to make a lot of money fast, get some level of fame and not have to work hard to do it- literally make it lying on their backs.
You can choose easy route in life or difficult route. Having a job that doesn’t require you to diminish your self respect or for example as a woman, let ten guys run a train on you for three hours (examples are endless)- you have values and boundaries to what you are willing and not willing to do for money. Once you’ll do anything to earn a buck, you are demoralized and willing to do anything at any cost. Sad state of affairs.
I don't know why I fool around with those other true crime channels when I know this is the best one by a long country mile.

Our eldest and middle son are both mechanical engineers our youngest is in his first year of college in South Carolina.
If you paid any attention to the storyline you would recall the first half of their life was in an upper middle class neighborhood in Florida. After the divorce the mother and son moved to DC. Their lifestyles changed immensely. The reason I asked why a father would allow his son to live in A situation that he is not accustomed to is because I am assuming dynamics have changed greatly.
Again that’s why I asked it would be interesting to know the backstory on the parents.

First story, thing about modeling: when I started (non-adult) modeling around fifteen years ago, it wasn't too scary, but people will get you worried out of care. But you also can't be naive. Luckily there is a lot of research one can put into a photographer now. Please do it if you don't have an agency and are starting out. Do it for your safety but also to know if it's going to be beneficial for all involved. This will not always keep you safe, but it may help. Also, about chaperones, many photographers are annoyed or even insulted by this if you're an adult. These tag-alongs can be distracting during a shoot, and some photographers feel it makes them look bad before you even start. I'm sure it's still a highly controversial topic. Do what you must, though. You may also arrange a ride with a very dependable person, and find a way to let the photographer know about the arrangement beforehand. Don't leave the site without your ride knowing. Adult photography seems to be an unsurprisingly sketchy area. I know someone who works behind the camera in it. She seems to use networking skills to get models. It is probably better for all because neither party is just meeting complete strangers from who knows where. Pursue your interests, but wisely and stay safe. These horror stories aren't normal, but don't forget they are very real.

Im surprised the John Holmes case ( I think that was his name in the adult industry), wasnt one covered here as that slaughter was infamous. I believe someone owed someone for drugs so they went into the apartment and slaughtered like 4 people. I believe it was John who led the killers to the apartment but im not sure what all went down as i dont remember the details. All i remember really is that he was a pretty big name in the porn industry at the time and the crime scene photos were just gruesome.
