Birds do pal I had birds as a kid indian ringneck as well as African grey and some other breeds I forget the name to when I was bullied at school I'd come home feeling like crap but my birds dogs cats and rabbit would make me feel good again especially the birds was painfull to loose them one after another I spent a few years without a pet intill I got one more dog and one more cat the cat was shot by an unknown person some months back and passed away then this month my mum was diagnosed with cancer unfortunately so when she comes out I'll be looking after her and the doctors said it wouldn't be good for the dog to be around her as it sleeps on her belly or between her legs and it could hurt her some more so I had to give my furr baby up the one saving grace is she is with my sister her husband and daughter so she is still a family pet just not mine I feel lost without my pets as they were like my kids I don't think I can have pets again to much pain to loose them

I didn’t watch this when O first saw it come up because it said parrots that kill laughing. Some people don’t understand slang so I thought these parrots were actually killing or murdering things. However, since I own parrots, and saw the Caique, I decided to take a chance. And a great compilation it is. Thanks.

They are wonderful companions, but they are a LOT of work, and they live as long time. Much more work than a cat or a dog. (I am typing this with a Caique in my shirt, lol)
Glad to see you have two birds.. Its important for the happiness of animals that you keep them In pairs for God's sake. It's not good to keep one animal alone in a cage. Solitary Confinement is cruelty to people and animals.

My grandfather had a cockatoo when he died. I inherited the bird. Don't have any clue how old that bird actually was. Gramps had him for at least 30yrs at the time he died. But it was an wild imported bird. I was 10 when I got the noisy bag of feathers. Was 30 when I buried the bird on my grandparents property right there with all the other family pets that died over the years. I currently have a 22yr old cat. Not looking forward to when she does , but I picked her out at 2 days old. She came to live with me at 8weeks old. Been a lump in my lap since that day. Gonna fall apart when my "Lyric" kitty passes.

i love play with my 3 rescue parrots but i also enjoy a lot to see other birds happy.... it just made my day more happy thanks for share this beauty of life with me

it depends on the parrot species. cockatoos could live for 60 years while other parrots might live for 20
