The Most Angsty Emo And Shoegaze Chords

- A very angsty progression of chords with some cool voicings in standard tuning. Lots of fairly accessible voicings in this one and lots of classic "intermediate" math rock and emo chord shapes too. This progression is great for anyone looking for ideas on how to use some of their shell voicing and extended chord vocabulary. Happy practicing!

Hey everyone, I made a little mistake in the text, its capo 3, not capo 4
We can see that 😂 what we need are the effects
Key of the chord progression?
I would listen to a full song of this
Right? So good
Or spend the whole night jamming these. Maybe we'll be playing the same chords at the same time

Thanks for the videos. This sounds really great. What's the signal chain?
are u using an overdrive or fuzz pedal? Love this tone
tips on getting this tone? love it
hey trevor i just wanted you to know this one really makes me think of the girl i had to run away from and how little i was when i beg to be a part of her life.
Hey Trevor, I noticed you strum over most of the strings when playing those chords. What is your muting technique? Do you use your free fingers to mute or whatever is economical. I'd like to incorporate that into my playing. Might be a dumb question, I'm new to muting..
What kind of OD pedal are you using? Interesting tone.
I love it ! Is this in standard tuning?
Yeah!
think i just figured out what chord narrow head uses in nodding off 0:01
What kind of pedal are you using?
What's the gear in use here?
Forgot about those 121 or 131 shaped chords haha
