It's definitely a Boston fern. All ferns love/need to be misted to keep their leaves supple and not turn crispy. Mist them at least every week. 2 or 3 times a week is best. Keep the soil moist and do not let dry out.
@@vanessalumbra9409 I think I might have overmisted my Kimberly Queen Fern then??? Didn't even know that was possible in Arizona. But yeah, she died. It was a hard loss as she was my first and only fern as a passionate fern lover 🥺🤠
@@wildfern that's because you probably had a nephrolepis cordifolia rather than a nephrolepis exhaltata as it appears you have here. Boston fern is a common term for a lot of plants in the nephrolepis genus. They have different requirements.
The cactus after your "euphorbia chergona" (if I spelt that right) looks to be an Aloe Marlothii (mountain aloe). They eventually grow very large. They grow a trunk made from the wilted leaves as they die and get to be about 13 feet tall. Their blooms are beautiful as well. I'm jealous you have one. Mine died and mountain Aloes are extremely hard to come by.
After keeping begonia, I've come to learn they really do not like to dry out, be given plenty of light or they get leggy, and be as close to the humidifier as possible. Huddling them together with other plants helps keep up the ambient humidity up because the transpiration from all the leaves. Sitting them on a large pebble tray together would be good too!
Snapchat has a plant identifier! You just hold down on the screen where the plant is (like you’re focusing on it) and it should pop up a name :) idk how accurate but maybe they would have the fern name 😂
Also if you download the Google app and click on the little camera icon next to the magnifying glass u can use Google Lens, which I used to identify my plant as an Echeveria succulent
Love to see your growth minimizing your collection and focusing on growing your plants and just to see how far they have come. You're channel is truly inspiring
As for the Monstera Adansonii, I would recommend a plastic pot (I know you're a terracotta girl but hear me out). I got a rather big adansonii very early on in my plant career and had no clue it was supposed to be a picky plant baby until very recently. I never have any problems with mine. I keep it in moderate light in a corner, water it thoroughly but only when it needs it, and he just keeps trucking. I know they can be thirsty boiiiss so maybe the terracotta is just drying out a bit faster than he likes? Good luck!
For the Alocasia black velvet, I would recommend putting him into semi-hydro. My silver dragon was suffering, so I put him into leca and he just grew out a new leaf and is growing pups. I also found 5 bulbs in the soil and put them in a glass container with leca and I now have 6 silver dragons including the mother plant. My maharani lost all of his leaves and I put him in leca and he grew a pup with a leaf. I plan to put the rest of my Alocasias into leca.
So this video was constantly being recommended to me by YT and I never clicked on it up until recently and now I'm obsessed with your channel 😩❤️ love from Poland
I think the Frydek would love more moisture and humidity. I put it mine a half potting soil, half pumice medium, near a humidifier and it's been really happy with that!

Love this video! Regarding the Alocasia Micholitziana "Frydek", it might be that the soil is drying out too fast. Check out jungleinaroom 's instagram highlights about alocasia, she shows how when she started watering her frydek more, it put out more and more leaves. I had the same issue! If the soil is not wet enough, the plant won't be able to sustain more than 2-3 leaves, that's why it drops a leaf as soon as it gets one. There could be other reasons for the leaf drop, like root rot or something, but it's most likely that your soil just dries out too fast.

Thank you!!
@@wildfern You're very welcome!
So many beautiful plants! Thanks for keeping it real! Makes me feel better about my yellowing adansonii and my poor root rotted Burle marx lol
Hahaha awweeee - yes, we all have struggles! Thanks for watching!
Really enjoy your videos. You’re so down to earth, and I also learn a lot. Always look forward to new ones!
I appreciate that! Thanks so much x
I got a cebu blue cutting and cut it in half and propagated them. The lady I got them from has a huge mother plant and she had to trim it again. So excited. Now I have a third piece propagating. It's funny how it's not easy to find here in Canada now. She said she got hers at Walmart about 3 years ago.
Oh my gosh Walmart, I can't even imagine lol!
That was fun!!!!! Nice to meet you and your plants!!! Thanks!!!
I love that you keep the functionality as well as a ridiculously beautiful collection! I’m sipping on that jealousy tea ☕️
Hahah awe! Thank you for watching!

Awe thank you so much!
you have so much plants and your such a plant mom they'd be happy with you!
Haha yes we are thriving thank you! ☺️🌿
I believe the fern at around 11:00 is a Boston fern! The foliage hangs a bit lower than a Kimberly queen (which are usually more upright)
Hmm interesting! Maybe it's just been easier for me to care for than other boston ferns because it's so established already.
I crazy about houseplants. I have a jungle inside my home. I love your video. Thank you.
wow love videos like this! you inspire so many of us!!! 💚🌱
Wow the house is very clean
I saw a lot of different types of plants.
thank you☺💕
I got a Dragon Scale Alocasia around the same time as you and it is now in rehab like your Black Velvet!! It was also in one of those weir plugs. I had to remove it and it lost most of its roots but it is now growing new healthy roots and is starting a new leaf!
Oh dear I'm nervous about it..
