"Rivers Edge" is one of my all time favorite films. i was extremely impressed with it when it came out because i have seen a lot of films or tv show attempt to show the teenage metal head or stoner of that time, but this was the only film i ever saw that actually had characters that felt really and believable to me and reminded me of me and friends i had at the time. the whole shrugging off your friend killing another friend aspect of the film is not what i am talking about, nut just the general look and behavior and home life that we see of the characters. and there were definitely people around that i knew that were very odd and it would not have shocked me if such a thing happened, but you knew who to really befriend and who to rather avoid or just humor.

River's Edge is a superb movie. Very good performances from a young cast including a very young Keanu Reeves. Also has a great cameo by Dennis Hopper.

Another must watch film from James B. Harris, The Bedford Incident starring Sidney Poitier and Richard Widmark. That film is a slow burning Crimson Tide.

Ricard... Esp with Sidney Poitier/Richard Widmark in it. Good reference to Crimson Tide.

Rob Lowe hasn't aged a day, he still looks the same, and this S&E episode is from before I was born

Masquerade is the only one I know 🔝 and I was surprised how much I liked it! Meg Tilly is so good. Another great offbeat movie with her is Leaving Normal❤🎉 Lol the ladies love Rob Lowe, Siskel! Matt Dillion would play the same type of role. I don’t like River’s Edge at all. It is too frightening that domestic violence and abuse is accepted. But it’s not because of tv, it’s because violence against women has been the norm for decades!
Desert 🌵 Bloom predicted the Trumpies, and Jon Voight is still doing the same thing with internet conspiracy theories!
