EOS M - Crop Sensor, Mirrorless, Small , good for travel, casual photograhpy.
EOS R - Full Frame sensor, Mirrorless, Better image quality due to bigger sensor.
DSLR - Full Frame sensor, Big size, Good for sport action or fast moving action due to mechanical motion of mirror to move away from sensor for image capture.

Which camera is right for me?
    The Blonde one! 😍😆
Have the M5, the R (classic?) and an old 5D3.
Canon please keep the M line as the tiny footprint for the lenses are great. I also use rangefinder lenses with an adapter for image quality and size. Just beef up the M5 with eye dual pixel, a faster ETTL Speedlite shoot (feels very powershoty), but keep the MP size. That will help bump up the dynamic range as well as the speed. It’s what fuji did with the x-t3.
On The R, please enable focus peaking while magnified. Works on the M, not sure why not on the R.
Also please keep working on your sensor i/o as well as the speed of your Digic chips. I think that’s where your bottleneck is with the extra processing these mirrorless cameras need. Muti-core digic chips maybe?
    To answer some peeps here:
The M line can only use M lenses or EF lenses. It can be adapted to R lenses with only a speed booster adapter by third party.
The R line is the most versatile. It speaks native EF, EF-S (with a crop) and R. My theory with it not speaking M is because the M is more powershot than EOS. Also the short flange distance makes it unadaptable without a correcting lens like a speed booster!
...Still think the blonde one is right for me...🥰😂

Hi Could you please tell me the little camera you have there and one you used in video, is it the EOS M6 and what lens did you use in the video please?? And is it the M6 or M6 Mark 11?
I had an Olympus PEN E-PL10 and the 14-150mm lens. Camera was beautiful and the quality, BUT I found it cumbersome and awkward to handle. The lens was BIG and heavy. Looking for a good camera that does/has: Good Stabilisation as I have a bit of tremor, good for close up, good zoom for distance, night and indoor shots, portraits, moving shots, landscape, fireworks, etc etc. Also touchscreen and good video. Only had point and shoot before that but want to enjoy taking better photos.
If it has to have a separate lens, is the EF-M 55-200mm f/4 5-6.3 IS STM a small lens but does all that I need in one lens please?
I really do need advice please asap as I would like to buy a camera.

Very nicely explained 👌👌I have a question for you. I don't know anything about cameras After seeing nikon p900 camera I want to buy it so tell what type of hood and lenses should I buy. I am not a photographer but I love to buy it.

    • @magnus547
      @magnus547 2 ปีที่แล้ว

If it doesn't come with a lens hood, just look one up that's suitable for a 24mm lens. I don't know the size of the lens on the P900, but it's zoom range and small sensor shouldn't give you too much of a glare issue, in my opinion. The sensor size is like a phone sensor.

Hi I have a Canon EOS 4000D - but why doesn't Canon make a remote shutter release for this model as I like taking lanscape pictures and really want a remote release - as I cannot afford to buy a new one with this option (unless you can swap as I live in the UK) Thanks

I have this camera and it's great justu.faith/CanonCamera?司 mostly if you're getting into photography and want to get a middle range camera this is the one for you, it's great for shooting videos and pictures and the lens it comes with is good for starters, I recommend this camera. If you have any questions let me know and I could let you know about the stuff you're concerned about.

    EOS R is trash.
Over the years canon stoodout from Nikon despite having lower sensor rating due to its ergonomics.
As a full manual shooter (Including Kelvin WB) i find EOS R as absolute trash.
I am moving to Nikon despite having moved from Nikon to Canon 2 months ago
