Because due to magnetic field rotor Rotating axial.mosstly manufacture gave rotor centre Position with marking...to correct dbse or dbff while rotor is centre Position.. initially u correct the dbse and dbff then u start the alignment boss

I believe there is a mistake for horizontal correction since just from your horizontal reading it is obvious that you need to move the motor from left to right to correct the horizontal misalignment, kindly check pls.

No Its not possible as per this method...

Yes. But you cannot correct the misalignment thoroughly. Its like a bypassing.

How about the dial indicator position...? Are you looking for Radial or Axial...?
