  • Using Macros can supercharge your efficiency by removing manual repetitive tasks such as logging calls, emails and follow up tasks. Creation of the Macros is also super easy and requires no code! You can use them on Leads, Contacts, Opportunities, Cases etc.

Thanks for the video, slightly unrelated but in your Leads related list you have an object called "We have found no potential duplicates for this Lead". Can you tell me if that is a custom build or is it native?

EveningEcho89 glad you enjoyed it. That is a standard lightning component for detecting and then merging duplicate records. You can add using the lightning page builder. Before you can use it, you must enable some duplicate rules in your org :) Hope that helps!

Hi, thanks for the video. Is it possible to edit field values with a macro? For example if I want to change lead status from Working to Disqualified.

Not directly, but that doesn't mean you cannot automate it :) For example, you could "log a call' or send an email with a specific subject header and then have a Process Builder rule fire to then update the Lead status if certain words or phrases are detected. You then control the phrase or text being entered into the "log a call" record via the macro. Hope that helps :) Maybe one day soon we'll be able to directly modify Case fields!!

Could you assign keys or use products like Stream Deck to trigger macros?

Not familiar with that product, so I couldn't say thanks.

    Hi,
Thank you for the video. That was really very helpful. But Can I can create new records on custom object via Macros?
    Thank you.

Unfortunately not, you'll need to use flow, trigger, or process builder rule to create actual records. :)
