I don’t particularly have any issues with English as I’ve lived in England for the most part of my life but I was asked to provide an English language test as part of a postgraduate application and I was a bit anxious and didn’t a clue as to how to tackle the photo description and the other production subsections. I basically watched your production videos for a couple of hours yesterday and boom, I scored 155. I employed all the techniques you mentioned and it helped me immensely. To everyone, follow this gentleman, his tips and techniques work!!!

Teacher luke..... I got 115 overall in first attempt in the Duolingo English test but my requirement is 120 overall with no components less than 105 😢 so can you please tell that how to score that mark easily
Hi, you're very close to getting the score you need. It depends on how long you have to until you need to retake the exam, but my suggestion would be focus mainly on the speaking and writing questions and to take the practice test at least twice a day. Hope this helps a bit!
Hii Teacher Luke. I'm from India and came to know about Duolingo only after watching your videos. I practiced for 2 months just by watching your videos and DET practice test. I took the test on Sunday and got my results today. I got an overall score of 145 with 145 in each subscore. Without you, I wouldn't have achieved this and I'm forever grateful for your guidance. Firstly, Love your channel. I have prepared for DET for a very short time by watching your videos. During the official practice Tests I scored 125-135 and 135-145 and was able to finish the tasks. However, didn't score beyond that. Surprisingly, the actual test was more challenging and I was unable to complete few tasks like summarizing conversation and writing sample, not predicting correct words for fill in the blanks of one of the long passages. I will get the Test Scores in two days. Wanted to ask you is there any chance of scoring low since I found the actual test to be more difficult than the Practice Test?
Sir during my duolingo test I got a notification of error occurred and after that they send me a message of buy again you test and when I check my result they write that you have been looking extend period of time away from screen but to be honest they did not take my test so tell me sir what can I do now please sir response my message it is not only test it is my whole life and the precious money of my parents
I also get same error in my 2nd attempt and in 1st attempt I got you have already pre prepared your exam from external sources but all answers was my own what I do 😢

Hello sir! I have a question that is it good to talk about our experiences in photo describing section or just talk about the photo contents? You know that there are some pictures that do not have enough content to talk about and we will have lots of extra time after describing them ,that’s why I asked you that question.
I just took the test and was disqualified for some reason,and then took the free one,and when i finished it said that my test was in review But below that it said that the test was invalid,is this ok? And both had the dates so i imagine it’s both tests i’ve taken:( Plz help
Sir i need 115 in the final exam but i gave twice the exams but the score i get only 105 every time i don't know how i improve my writing and what things are important to full fill in writing section can you told about your application what in that after 7 days I try again 😢😢

Thank you! I watched probably like 30 of your videos in preparation for the test. I scored 140 in my first attempt, and 145 in my second attempt.

I think so because During exam I just watched my screen and keyboard I got my result uncertified😢
I should get 110 I took Duolingo test about 8 times but all them were uncertified.
