    I think in this example (He did'nt put on suncreen; th - -, he got sunburned after just one hour.) "thus" would be a better answer.

      @ArnoLearning  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Wow, great observation! Both "then" and "thus" work well, which means that this question simply wasn't well-designed.

    I was panicking since I was getting difficult blanks during my first attempt of DET Practice Test, which I took the day before. I scored 120-130

    • @ArnoLearning
      @ArnoLearning  11 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      If the blanks were difficult, that meant that Duolingo determined that your English level is quite advanced. That's why you ended up getting 120-130, which is a strong score!

      Try to use the vocabularies that he posted and also watch other TH-camrs like teacher Luke. Last but not least, practice more; I promise you you’ll improve quickly.

    Arno, thanks for your video. I have a question, if I put a wrong word does it take away points from me? or it´s only 0 points?

    • @ArnoLearning
      @ArnoLearning  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hello, if none of the letters you type in are correct, then you will get 0 points. If you leave letters empty, you will also get 0 points. This is why you should always try to answer.

    5:24 so, if I typed "timetable" it would be wrong?

    • @ArnoLearning
      @ArnoLearning  2 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      You would get partial credit for "timetable" because the "time" part would be correct. A "timetable" is more like a schedule for something like a train. A "timeline" contains deadlines, which is more appropriate for something like a project.

    I am scoring around 100-110 in my practice session continuously , what should I expect the exact score, it’s 100 or 110 ??

    • @ArnoLearning
      @ArnoLearning  23 วันที่ผ่านมา

      It's impossible to say exactly what you will score on the real test given your mock test scores. You could score 100 or 110, or even higher or lower.

    I have a question, if I wrote 4 or 5 words bad in the writting section but I used some avance words, this fail could less much points in my score or not?

    • @ArnoLearning
      @ArnoLearning  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hello! You will lose some points for misusing some words, but you will gain points for using advanced words. In other words, they will cancel out.
