So i wasn't hallucinating, just saw on a site where they all were sold out, going from $400 and up.. i was in the market for something like them, but i'll be damned if i'll pay $400+ for a single or double knuck or what ever knuckle out there.. so i was shocked to hear you saying you bought two and gave one to your buddy.. then saw the upload date, and thought see, once they were priced fairly ;)
I just saw a double knuckle like mine selling for $800, I paid around $115 each for the 2 I bought with a little custom work by Andy. Secondary market is crazy for these.
is can see myself paying 115 for one of these, it's CF that's pricey stuff so i can see it costing that much, is Andy taking taking orders? or what happend to him? the items i see on sites that sold are from years back.
I ordered mine from Andy through the Jerzeedevil forum years ago. The last I heard he was frequenting the Usual Suspects Network. Part of the reason they're so expensive is because they're hard to get now. Good luck tracking him down, he's a nice guy and will take care of you if you find him.

But hey, it's the weekend. i figuered the price bump had something to do with the availability, was the same when hinderer knives were hard to come by.. hope if one can order directly through Andy it's his normal rate. anywho, thanks for replaying, if i hear something, i will keep you posted ;) seeing you helped me out here

Well I just saw an ad for a set of CF like the ones I had, the price was $800. They just keep going up and when I see them for sale they usually sell quick.

Your wearing them wrong. You wear them above your first knuckle. They way you're wearing them will jack your hand up. I suggest you do not use them, they can result in significant damage you will be criminally liable for.
I tried to buy one for my wife but can't believe how much these go for at the secondary market. Your piece looks great!
