The 650 is very collectable tractor nowadays. The 650 was the last "Letter Series" tractors, it was essentially a slightly updated McCormick Super WD-9. It's great to see this one restored and running so well. Engine parts for these big tractors are e$pen$ive and hard to find!
Hi I forgot . About 2 yrs ago auction sale, there was a 600-650? forget. Auctionner said phone call from out west? about I think 650, it went $6500. There was JD older one I think it went $6000. Thanks
Good day Many questions. Was that were you went with W-4, do 650 have ta, what tractor was that in front, was that wide bottom plow? Anyways , what gear ? Thanks
Hi Don! This video was the previous weekend. on the 11th I took the W4 to Forest and Al took the 650 as well. it was much better plowing. The 650 was built on the W9 platform and a TA was not offered. We were pulling four 14" bottoms in 2nd gear with the 650. The tractor in front was a diesel jd 2 cylinder... I think it was an R.
