Please clarify if use water should it be hot or warm? Can i use milk, eggs and lemon?
Hi the water was warm.
I'm about to try using milk today. I also want to add a bit of cardamoms.
I always sprinkle flour once I oil my spread out dough before I make the balls..my mama taught me so.. everything else I do like you do
Yes yes i saw you do that in your last chapati video. I will try that next time.
Thank you dear
Exactly

Chappati can still be made super soft, without the pumpkin, and l also think that you like yellow color , any oil can do
Totally agree with you. This is just one way of doing it. If you check my previous videos I still have another one of how i make them. Thanks for watching and engaging with me.❤️

@@preciousmercy9215 pole sana Mercy next time will not have it that loud. Karibu huku❤️
Why do mine become hard and rubber like
Asante sana ,chapati zapendeza.l advice, the materials on which you are rolling the chapati is made up of a material or substances that you will end up consuming. Think about it ,may be use a wooden one.God bless you
I believe that surface if absolutely safe my dear thanks for the concern though. Na asante kwa kutizama na kuchukua mda kucomment❤️❤️
Can i have some lol
Heheh yes sure… 🥰
It's called preheating the karai 6:38

Maji ilikuwa moto ama just😂warm water sister?
Warm water 🤗 thanks for watching
That is not a butternut though. What you used is just the usual pumpkin not butternut. You might confuse people who are learning this terms for the first time
I know the difference btwn butternut and pumpkin my dear. I have indicatein my title that its Malenge and that is pumpkin in swahili.
Did I mention butternut anywhere in the video?
@@conversationwithanna yes you did mention butternut
@@tashasoita9251 my bad then. For anyone learning that is pumpkin not a butternut. Thanks guys.
@@conversationwithanna Swahili is maboga
@@neema37_christmyredeemer swahili of what is maboga dear?
You don't use salt/ sugar ama!?
I did add some salt hapo mwanzo while mixing the ingredients.
Best recipe is using self raising flour, butternut, blue band, one to two eggs, salt and sugar...u will enjoy
Oh Really Never tried that. I will give this a try. Thanks. And thanks for watching.
@@conversationwithanna yeah very delicious 🤤
@@mohcheps9171 ❤️
I still struggle with kneading the dough 😢.
I hope this helps you.
@@conversationwithanna I hope so too. I am making chapos, I messed up while kneading but I "recovered". I'll let you know once I am done how they turned out. Practice makes perfect 😊
@@blessedchrists3995 yes practice makes perfect. I will be waiting
@@conversationwithanna😅 so here's my update. I'd rate them at 60% coz kneading is really important. After rest the dough was like 90% elastic but would break at some point. Otherwise the chapattis were soft but not to my expected goal.
@@blessedchrists3995 hey I’m glad you gave it a try. The dough could break maybe because it was too soft.. just keep trying I’m sure u will perfect it soon.
And for those who dislike pumpkin they will consume through chapati pumpkin
Yes sure..
