I ran RM 85 forks and they were way too heavy for jumps and wheelies it still works but it’s a night and day difference. If ur on budget go Fastace for $500
Just wish the suron or talara wasn't so frigging expensive alot go Dh bike forks for e bike forks like fox or rockshox lighter and can still handle big air some have used pit bike suspension fast ace DNM and works out well alot use the that suspension during pitbike motocross i use to race the custom class on full blown mx tracks
How hard was the 85 fork to bottom out stock compared to the stock fork? I can get a set of yz85 forks super cheap and was thinking about doing that to my talaria and dropping in some heavy duty springs!
Didn't see a video on the rear shock. (Link it if you have one.) What rear shock are you going with? I plan on doing this to my Talaria, also a 16" rear wheel and a speed upgrade. Thanks 👍
Great job lads very informative and a great way to build a talaria/surron
Thanks! Love the bike and happy to share my experience.
could you use the yz85 rear shock with some custom made parts for making it fit?

That fork doesn’t hold up to riding on real moto tracks and big air.
You should look around at converting that yz85 or something like thatvinstead of the sur ron
Now I need another front end 🤣
I would love to test a Sur ron. Grtz on 1k+ subs.
Thanks. I was surprised at happened so fast.

They are much better but don’t forget that you need a 19” wheel
Do you know what years yz85 front forks will work?
They haven’t really changed them much. I would guess almost any year.
43mm forks from any generation. some 125's have them too, but they can also have the big boy 48mm @@aMotoheadsGarage
does stock surron/talaria wheels work with those forks?
You can make spacers and brackets for the brake caliper. Plus the Surron/Talaria wheel is NO WHERE near as strong as the 85 wheel.
@@aMotoheadsGarage will the Luna 18/21 wheels work with I am currently running work?
@@CodeCole I believe that you would have to make spacers and brackets, but it’s definitely possible.
@@aMotoheadsGarage ok thanks

I’m still running the stock rear shock but I also switched to a 16” rear
to heavy
It’s actually not at all. Any weight gain is offset by how good the fork is.
