Before I recycle/throw away containers and/or lids I try to think of a way that I can repurpose them. In my bathroom drawer I have a Neutrogena Hydroboost cream glass jar to store my bobby pins. Lids for example, I use to raise the height of things I have on display on my shelves...or the pot plants on my balcony. You can use the jar and lid for storing hardware, craft and sewing bits and pieces. Anyone who paints will be glad of any spare empties you have. You can decorate the jars to cover up the labels, to personalise them and make them more fun. 👱♀️❤ ♻️

Instead of purchasing liquid gel face cleanser I have changed to the Cerave hydrating bar soap. I know there a little expensive, but they last so long and non-drying. Also, I am finishing up some lotions, but prefer the Cerave in the tub for my face and body. I have a few hoidy-toidy products that I'm using up because I have them, but have never noticed any difference with my skin! Of course, I only trust your opinion! Much love to you and your MOM!

I am traveling and suffering terribly right after walking around in the heat in Europe. I am guessing it is more common that people realize. I ended up having to purchase medical grade compression socks here in Germany. Not the way I wanted to spend my money here, and I'm not feeling very cute while wearing them. The best place I have found to buy affordable skincare here in Germany is a large chain store called DM. A lot of products with UREA and many things from the brand Balea. Everything is very inexpensive!!!! I am happy to send pics if people want to see!

I have been using the Neutrogena hydro boost gel since you recommended it last year. I use this one on my face and the hydro boost gel moisturizer in the large pump for my body, underneath my sunscreen. A few months ago, I mistakenly bought the one with fragrance. It was so strong I ended up giving it to a friend. I am someone who is sensitive to fragrance as it fast-tracks migraines.

I LOVE GOLD BOND pure moisture! Finished two bottles, got a family pump bottle to myself. It’s the only thing I use for skin care now, and my skin has never been better! I spread it on cotton pad and use it as a “toner,” then apply it regularly on top. Crazy good.
I really like the aveeno body wash you showed. Dove also has a new body wash called “irritation care”. Its very rich and creamy and fragrance free too. That and the eucerin body wash are always in my shower.
I reluctantly tried neutragena hydrating gel - I had extremely low expectations- I have seen amazing results with it! Awesome facial moisturizer at a great price !

I really love the Neutrogena hydroboost lipgloss. I liked the overnight lip balm by Neutrogena. I still prefer LANEIGE lip sleeping mask. I do wish that Laneige made an unscented version. I am not allergic to their different scents though 🤷🏻♀️
Kids' flavored toothpaste are all I use. Any kind of mint flavoring causes, you guessed it, perioral dermatitis. What a nightmare. Glad we're on the same page. Tom's makes a nice toothpaste for kids (or seniors like me).
You can make hypochlorous acid at home! I have a Force of Nature machine, and I use the product for general sanitizing, as hand sanitizer, and skin spray. It’s also nice to know that the concentration of the product is still correct, since HOCl is an unstable molecule.
I've noticed Dr Dray's face is lighter than last year's videos. Did she have melasma? What a difference! Looks great! Gives me hope for my hyperpigmentation and melasma.
I agree Dr Dray does look very pretty today. I have never known Dr Dray to have hyperpigmentation or melasma. She has been using tinted sunscreens lately, so I think that this maybe the difference that you have noticed in the even appearance of her skin tone. I don't know which tinted sunscreen she is wearing today. Wearing sunscreen everyday (and avoiding the sun's damaging rays) helps to prevent these conditions. Dr Dray does mention the Avene SPF tinted compact cream in today's video. That may be suitable for you if you want to prevent discolouration, conceal & even out your skin-tone, and also protect your skin at the same time. Watch/re-watch Dr Dray's videos on these skin conditions; also her video on hydroquinone which is what I use (in addition to SPF50 sunscreen and other products Dr Dray recommends). If your budget allows, see a dermatologist who can prescribe medication for melasma, rather than going to a beauty parlour (who sell expensive non-prescription products along with their treatments). If you have a darker skin tone you have to be particularly careful about using skin lightening products such as hydroquinone,, because if you use it to much and/or don't use it carefully (under the supervision of a doctor) they can sometimes cause discoloration/uneveness. Everyone must wear sunscreen everyday, on all exposed areas of skin...even during winter & cloudy days, also when in the car and when inside during the day (as the sun's rays do come through windows). Remember to reapply sunscreen regulary. Good luck! 👱♀️❤

I am on trentinoin and tranexamic acid and use elta md sunscreens best for hyperpigmentation (physical, clear and restore). I was just saying her face looks whiter, instead of her face being darker than her neck like that in her old videos. Didn't mention pretty or not pretty although she looks radiant in this video with the even skin tone to her neck. I do believe I heard her say she had hyperpigmentation long ago but I'm not sure, that's why I asked.
I switched over to the Hydro Boost Gel Cream for Extra Dry skin as my daytime moisturizer and I am so happy to have found a product that does not exacerbate my dry, eczema/acne prone skin. I prefer it to the regular formula as its way less irritating and much more hydrating. Paired with Rapid Wrinkle Repair at night and CeraVe Resurfacing Retinol Serum 2x a week, my skin has never felt or looked better, and it has become so well equipped to handle eczema flare ups or periodic breakouts on my face. Thanks Dr. Dray for all your recommendations over the years.

That Tower 28 SOS face spray also has the Hydra Clorice Ingredient in it. For a lip balm I use The Naked Bee Orange Blossom Honey Lip Balm. They have their own website & a whole line of skin care. They are vegan & cruelty free. Yes, like the Tom’s of Maine Strawberry mouth wash. If you have sensitive teeth, listerine has a sensitive mouth wash.
I had been getting in the hot tub, showering, and applying that Gold Bond Pure Moisture lotion, then repeat the next day. The lotion is so effective that it would still be on my skin 24 hours later, getting into my hot tub (shower is recommended before using the hot tub to remove oils from the skin, but it had never been an issue before using the Gold Bond). After a week of this with the Gold Bond Pure Moisture, my hot tub sensor failed, and it won't stay on! I absolutely think it's due to the amazing moisturizer. I need to empty, clean, refill it, and hope it works again. 😬
How can one person possibly use up all those creams until they’re completely empty? I’m sorry, I’m such a skeptic…but I just don’t see how one person could use that many creams until they’re gone. Even a family of four, a tub of cream would last a few months. How long have you used these creams? Is this over the course of a month, few months, or a year?
I go through at least one lotion/cream and one ointment per month. It’s not hard if you have dry skin. She often overlaps products and uses it for several months. So she shows when they’re used up

Gold Bond Pure Moisture is SO good esp. on the face for oily skin! After tubes and tubs of pricey moisturizers, found the best one for me at $5!!! I was surprised how well it sinks into the skin and how smooth it made my skin feel. I’ve been skipping AHA/ PHAs and find that urea is sufficient for me.

Haven’t tried the Skyn Iceland gel patches but the micro needle ones are totally useless… the dermtlgy eye patches (the sparkly pink/maroon ones) are way better but the shape is much more suited to small round shaped eyes than almond ones

She's talked about thermal water in videos and I believe she's even reviewed the avene thermal water. The Budget Dermatologist has reviewed it (and the entire avene line) as well.
I use my products so slowly. I still have a half jar of nivea from two years ago and two Vaselines from last year and many lotions from about a year or more ago. I am not consistent with products so that’s probably why.
The neutrogena hydro boost moisture gel with fragrance is INCREDIBLY irritating on my skin. The amount of fragrance they put in is ABSURD. Not to mention that the scent is very strong and jarring.
My 3rd bottle of the ACT mouth rinse was very different from previous. It was a much thinner liquid and caused my teeth to ache below the gums the same way tooth whitening products can do. Liked the product originally but not the current version.

Is it ok to use a urea cream in the morning if you also use tretinoin at night? I have a eucerin urea cream but it also has AHAs in it and have been hesitant to try it on my face.
I know she's said in her urea for face video that you can use urea creams with retinols but that's a case of a product being around 5% so it would probably be okay with azelaic.
I use urea before my azelaic acid in the evenings/days I'm at home not wearing make-up (as it "pills" ). Also, check out TH-cam's Mo's Skin Lab. He is a pharmacist and toxicologist. He has a great video about using urea to soften the skin first, to increase the absorbency of the active ingredients in other products. 👱♀️❤
No, I tried the 'new formulation' cetaphal, and it was awful. Didn't feel like it cleansed the skin at all, and there was zero 'substance' to it, no creaminess or slip whatsoever. I will go back to my trusted QV gentle body wash, far superior. I'm in Australia by the way. 🇦🇺

Kids' flavored toothpaste are all I use. Any kind of mint flavoring causes, you guessed it, perioral dermatitis. What a nightmare. Glad we're on the same page. Tom's makes a nice toothpaste for kids (or seniors like me).
You can make hypochlorous acid at home! I have a Force of Nature machine, and I use the product for general sanitizing, as hand sanitizer, and skin spray. It’s also nice to know that the concentration of the product is still correct, since HOCl is an unstable molecule.
Is hydroxyethyl urea in Gold Bond Pure Moisture the same as the urea in Eucerin Repair Cream and Zeroid? I am so confused
It's a derivative of urea but is supposed to have the same properties.

I've noticed Dr Dray's face is lighter than last year's videos. Did she have melasma? What a difference! Looks great! Gives me hope for my hyperpigmentation and melasma.
I agree Dr Dray does look very pretty today. I have never known Dr Dray to have hyperpigmentation or melasma. She has been using tinted sunscreens lately, so I think that this maybe the difference that you have noticed in the even appearance of her skin tone. I don't know which tinted sunscreen she is wearing today.
Wearing sunscreen everyday (and avoiding the sun's damaging rays) helps to prevent these conditions. Dr Dray does mention the Avene SPF tinted compact cream in today's video. That may be suitable for you if you want to prevent discolouration, conceal & even out your skin-tone, and also protect your skin at the same time.
Watch/re-watch Dr Dray's videos on these skin conditions; also her video on hydroquinone which is what I use (in addition to SPF50 sunscreen and other products Dr Dray recommends).
If your budget allows, see a dermatologist who can prescribe medication for melasma, rather than going to a beauty parlour (who sell expensive non-prescription products along with their treatments).
If you have a darker skin tone you have to be particularly careful about using skin lightening products such as hydroquinone,, because if you use it to much and/or don't use it carefully (under the supervision of a doctor) they can sometimes cause discoloration/uneveness.
Everyone must wear sunscreen everyday, on all exposed areas of skin...even during winter & cloudy days, also when in the car and when inside during the day (as the sun's rays do come through windows). Remember to reapply sunscreen regulary.

@@nadab4750 thx, i do all that. I have seen all her videos. I am seeing a derm. No hydroquinone, it makes my condition worse. I am on trentinoin and tranexamic acid and use elta md sunscreens best for hyperpigmentation (physical, clear and restore).
I was just saying her face looks whiter, instead of her face being darker than her neck like that in her old videos. Didn't mention pretty or not pretty although she looks radiant in this video with the even skin tone to her neck. I do believe I heard her say she had hyperpigmentation long ago but I'm not sure, that's why I asked.

I switched over to the Hydro Boost Gel Cream for Extra Dry skin as my daytime moisturizer and I am so happy to have found a product that does not exacerbate my dry, eczema/acne prone skin. I prefer it to the regular formula as its way less irritating and much more hydrating. Paired with Rapid Wrinkle Repair at night and CeraVe Resurfacing Retinol Serum 2x a week, my skin has never felt or looked better, and it has become so well equipped to handle eczema flare ups or periodic breakouts on my face. Thanks Dr. Dray for all your recommendations over the years.

That Tower 28 SOS face spray also has the Hydra Clorice Ingredient in it. For a lip balm I use The Naked Bee Orange Blossom Honey Lip Balm. They have their own website & a whole line of skin care. They are vegan & cruelty free. Yes, like the Tom’s of Maine Strawberry mouth wash. If you have sensitive teeth, listerine has a sensitive mouth wash.
I had been getting in the hot tub, showering, and applying that Gold Bond Pure Moisture lotion, then repeat the next day. The lotion is so effective that it would still be on my skin 24 hours later, getting into my hot tub (shower is recommended before using the hot tub to remove oils from the skin, but it had never been an issue before using the Gold Bond). After a week of this with the Gold Bond Pure Moisture, my hot tub sensor failed, and it won't stay on! I absolutely think it's due to the amazing moisturizer. I need to empty, clean, refill it, and hope it works again. 😬

How can one person possibly use up all those creams until they’re completely empty? I’m sorry, I’m such a skeptic…but I just don’t see how one person could use that many creams until they’re gone. Even a family of four, a tub of cream would last a few months. How long have you used these creams? Is this over the course of a month, few months, or a year?
I go through at least one lotion/cream and one ointment per month. It’s not hard if you have dry skin.

Gold Bond Pure Moisture is SO good esp. on the face for oily skin! After tubes and tubs of pricey moisturizers, found the best one for me at $5!!! I was surprised how well it sinks into the skin and how smooth it made my skin feel. I’ve been skipping AHA/ PHAs and find that urea is sufficient for me.

Haven’t tried the Skyn Iceland gel patches but the micro needle ones are totally useless… the dermtlgy eye patches (the sparkly pink/maroon ones) are way better but the shape is much more suited to small round shaped eyes than almond ones

I use my products so slowly. I still have a half jar of nivea from two years ago and two Vaselines from last year and many lotions from about a year or more ago. I am not consistent with products so that’s probably why.

The neutrogena hydro boost moisture gel with fragrance is INCREDIBLY irritating on my skin. The amount of fragrance they put in is ABSURD. Not to mention that the scent is very strong and jarring.

My 3rd bottle of the ACT mouth rinse was very different from previous. It was a much thinner liquid and caused my teeth to ache below the gums the same way tooth whitening products can do. Liked the product originally but not the current version.

I know she's said in her urea for face video that you can use urea creams with retinols but that's a case of a product being around 5% so it would probably be okay with azelaic.
I use urea before my azelaic acid in the evenings/days I'm at home not wearing make-up (as it "pills" ). Also, check out TH-cam's Mo's Skin Lab. He is a pharmacist and toxicologist. He has a great video about using urea to soften the skin first, to increase the absorbency of the active ingredients in other products.

No, I tried the 'new formulation' cetaphal, and it was awful. Didn't feel like it cleansed the skin at all, and there was zero 'substance' to it, no creaminess or slip whatsoever.
I will go back to my trusted QV gentle body wash, far superior.

I’m wary if I should throw them away or repurpose them for my body care or feet care since those areas have thicker skin. Is it unhealthy to use old moisturizers?
