      I just got mine 2019 3.3t g80 😍😍😍😍
      Fyi: I've been an Japanese owner most of my life Infiniti 2013 g37xs, 2012 Honda accord, G37xs again, then a q70s 2017 which that one unfortunately was stolen but I heard about genesis and did thorough research. These cars are hard to get and that already caught my eye. After looking at the design and specs it's like a maaaajjjjooooorrrrrrr upgrade from what I owned and I can say I'm glad it was stolen 😆. This car is revolutionary and will take over the auto market real soon, but for now I'll gladly be the only one driving this in NYC, people know I settle for the finer things when it comes to cars.

    Thanks Joe!! My friend just took delivery of his pearl white G80 Sport with gray leather, which he custom-ordered. He absolutely loves it. After considering other European and Asian marques, he concluded the G80 was the best bang-for-the-buck in the large-sedan luxury market. What sealed the deal was Genesis' concierge service, which picks up and returns his G-ship at work/home and leaves a loaner for him during servicing. Great product and awesome service by Genesis!

I have to say, I have never been happier with a purchase I have ever made, which is not many due to my being a 28 y/o millennial without the massive bank account. I love Hyundai and have been with them for years. We had the Santa Fe 2014 Fully loaded since then, We got a veloster and recently got the 2019 Santa Fe Limited 2.0 and we love it. Hyundai provides a ton of futures compared to the competition, in fact they were one of the first in provide Android/Apple Car play to head-units and is always providing the newest technology to their vehicles. Now with the New Sonata... You can move your car with the key without being in the car... To get you an idea.... You needed to have a 5 or 7 series of BMW to do that and I was probably the first in the market... Now with less than 35k you can have the same feature.
    Talking about Genesis, now it really nice that they're going to replace the 2.0t for the base Genesis G70 and use the new 2.5 that's used for the Veloster N ... 290hp I think... That's pretty bold for being a hyundai....That means that tuners will take your base G70 or your new upcoming Sonata N Line and bumped up to 300+hp. Toyota still with their extremely slow 1.8 engines... lol..

    I leased a 2016 Genesis 3.8 and upgraded to the 2018 G80 3.3 T. The 2016 Hyundai got destroyed in deprecation when Hyundai switched to Genesis. That car is worth nothing now ! The dealership experience was pretty whack for the price point but the cars were unbelievably solid in every way and never any issues . Radio HUD, Tech, engine power acoustic windshield ...all just awesome! I would consider Genesis GV80 but likely will stick with an all electric household that I started . We’ll see!

    I think the Genesis brand is good and they make nice cars BUT with their crappy Genesis Dealer/Support network and lack of many parts in the US makes it a hard sell for this car for many. I'm also not convinced the reliability of this cars it up to snuff with the Japanese brands like Lexus. Very fast depreciation is also a big problem with this brand. BTW you would be crazy to buy the G80 right now when the Redesign is out later this year!

  • @chibbyylol
    @chibbyylol 5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    Genesis is a great upcoming brand I'd say, but just the issue is no dealerships. The one nearest me is in the same building as Hyundai; Toyota has definitely learned earlier on with Lexus that people buying a Lexus don't want to have their vehicles serviced in the same place as a Corolla, Camry or the like.
    Just a totally different atmosphere and experience. I'm sure it's the same with buy a G70 or G80 and having it serviced next to a Kona or Elantra. Also there is a thing to say about overall customer experience as well, as people entering a only Genesis dealership would be treated perhaps more respectfully than a Kia or Hyundai one.
    Great vid joe

    • @johnnymichael1804
      @johnnymichael1804 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      That's probably Hyundais and Kias biggest hurdle. Getting their dealerships to reflect the quality of products they sell now.
      But I will say, not all Hyundai dealers are the same. The one I bought my Sonata from was pretty welcoming... Didn't make me feel 2nd class as other people have claimed. And they sell Genesis, there too....

    Yes, I love everything that Genesis is doing right now. There have also been alot of spy shots and leaks of their soon to be released crossover, the GV80. It looks very good so far. That 3.3 TT V6 is an incredible engine. If you want a cheaper preowned G80, and providing your not a badge snob, you can get a 2015-2016 Hyundai Genesis for a fraction of the cost. With the exception of a few trim and exterior details, it is essentially the exact same car. It only came with a NA V6 and V8 though. Providing it was in the budget though, the Genesis G80 Sport would always be my choice.

    Hi, I own a G90. First, I love the car. I had a BMW 740 and the G90 is, pound for pound just as nice if not better. Before you purchase a G90, call the service dept and ask for service. Then, ask for a loaner car and/or valet pickup. In the Atlanta area, the 3 dealers I've dealt with, to get oil changes, any type of service, there is no loaner car, no valet and it'll take 1-2 months to get service. So, let's say your car overheats. You'll not be able to drive it or go without your car till service can be done. I've even called the 800 Genesis Connected Service number to complain and see if something could be done. Guess what ... they spoke a good tune just like the dealership but they haven't done ANYTHING. If I wanted to be ignored or make to feel insignificant I could have just stayed with my BMW and their overpriced service dept. Speaking of overpriced, the 5000 mile oil change at the dealership was $180. For an oil change !!!! Again, I might as well go back to BMW. Do the research and know that you've been warned. Happy driving.
