I really like those time lapse tracking shots. They turn what could be a rather boring watch into something with some depth and interest. Oh, and that Venator is cool, too!
Me and my partner bought the UCS la-at 2 months ago and seeing both interior boxes for this set be the same size as the main box of the la-at makes me want it even more
I remember when I first saw Star Wars episode 3:Revenge of the Sith was the first time I had ever heard of the Venator Class Star Destroyer as I didn't think there were anything like them before the Star Destroyers we saw in A New Hope,Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.
It is so disappointing that the main hangar doors don’t open, they could’ve put a bunch of micro starfighters in there, and made the moc so much cooler
Is it still fun to build it so fast in one go to make a media time window? It would take me ages in the evening to build this. Also makes it worth the money to spend a lot of time on it.
Lego hit the nail on the head on this one. But I wish they took the effort to detail the bottom and print the logos instead of off colored stickers. Looks a little tacky
it's just an overrated, expensive piece of anticipated crap, that looks like a jar jar binks... bot worth the money for a plain and boring set. OVERRATED!!!!
@@james-tp5uihe's kinda true bro. It comes with 0 interior. It's just one big bulk set for way to much money. Not worth 650$ in American inflation. Them swedish mfs know what they be doing for Lego now

The plastic bags are honestly disappointing and it’s pretty sad that there is no top hangar interior, nor that you can open the bay doors. Especially at this price point.
at about the :25 mark there's that red ship next to the mando helmet. i had one as a kid but my mom kinda destroyed it and i lost a bunch of pieces and couldn't rebuild. is it possible to still find that one somewhere, and maybe other older sets? would love to have it again, was my first big lego set edit: the instructions for this one go bag by bag right? i don't think i'd stay sane if i had to dig through six different bags for one small part haha
Im stuck on step 559. My nephew got there and was confused. So i thought he misplaced some parts. Rather than back track, i rebuilt the whole thing only to run into the same problem. Ive seen others online who have had similar issues. Connecting the control tower to the base with those 2 pins and its basically hanging by them???
Very impressive you built this in only 5 minutes
He actually only needed 3 minutes and 40 seconds. Even more impressive
you must be so gullible to think this only took 5 minutes
this is clearly sped up, it probably took closer to 10 or even 15 minutes in total
@@minhuang8848 i thought it was slowed down so we could understand what was going on, must be like 50 seconds
@@minhuang8848it would take way longer than that trust
@minhuang8848 bro I didn't take 15 mins bro like 4-8 hours
played this video at 2x speed to watch David build the UCS Venator in 2.5 minutes
Watched in x3
Lmao watching it in 2 times looks like how they build in the Lego videogames haha
I took one screenshot to create a stop-motion animation that runs in 1/24th of a second.
I really like those time lapse tracking shots. They turn what could be a rather boring watch into something with some depth and interest. Oh, and that Venator is cool, too!
the fact that it took him 5 mins to build this amount of pieces is CRAZY!
not even 5 minutes, because it took time to open the box as well.
You really think that? That’s honestly stupid. It’s obviously slowed down so that we can understand what’s happening

Its sad to know i will never be able to get this model, but thanks for letting me live vicariously, building my favourite capital ship of all time😄
Just save up a little at a time and eventually you will have enough
Never say never

I love these time lapse builds!!! It’s so awesome to see it come together!
this is a timelapse?
@@mreggs3731 I guess it’s not and thank you pointing it out
Do you plan to modify it to have an interior over toward the empty space in the back? Would love to see a med bay, command area, barracks, or armory.
I’d rather see the main hanger doors open with a bunch of microfighters
I Hope I Can Afford This Set
650 USD
It is so disappointing that the main hangar doors don’t open, they could’ve put a bunch of micro starfighters in there, and made the moc so much cooler
this is not a moc. moc means my own creation
"I have become more powerful than any jedi has ever dreamed of"- this guy probably
Those chonky thrusters look SO GOOD!
ngl as soon as the music hit i thought there were house flies in my ears, got so freaked out.

Building this in 5 minutes is easy, just walk up to the pile of bricks and hold down the B button. That's how it works in LEGO Star Wars.
Damn that is some insanely good building skills. ~5000 pieces in 5 minutes or ~1000 pieces/min.
True lego fans would really appreciate a proper live build.
watching this in 2x speed is actually insane
I am so glad that during my childhood Lego Star Wars was affordable.
idk why they didn't use any of the big space for some interior
if only I had money to get that. I'll end up getting the Executor Star Destroyer though, it looks really cool.
How long did this actually take u to build?
7 hours and 23 minutes
Is it still fun to build it so fast in one go to make a media time window? It would take me ages in the evening to build this. Also makes it worth the money to spend a lot of time on it.
Cool.
Super slick video!
Saving up for it
how long did it actually take you to build this thing?
The dark side of the force is a pathway to many abilities, some considered to be... unnatural
Engines mounted with technic pins supported by something else? They stable?--that's been a concern mentioned by a few other vloggers?
5 minutes ?
It seems this man has unlocked a pathway with some abilities one would consider . . . Unnatural.
Is it possible to learn this power
Im gonna have to save the VIP points for this one!
What song is this?
“1978” by Tellsonic
Looks great but is it just me or does this set look kinda small for $650?
POV: your in any lego star wars game
Love this style of video. What was the actual build time?
How long did it really take
where is the Clone Wars Obi-Wan Cornobi and Bananakin Skinwalker?
impressive, but it's a hollow casco with frame technic lego. Why not build in structure with minifigs like the MIllinium Falcon.
Anyone know what bag Rex comes from?
I was confused at first. Title says 5 minutes, but it only took 2:30...then realized I was in 2x speed.
How long did it take you to build in real time not sped up?
hey do you think you can wall mount this im gonna ask my parents for chrismas but dont have the shelf space so is you can pls make avideo about it
Daym i want this
What a legendary set
I wish there was at least a micro scale interior like the titanic
SHEESH
I think the Lego set looks really cool but I think it would be better for it to have a interior
chat. do we think there is any way to put a miniature scale hangar interior in this?
No main hangar?
It doesn't have a place for guys to sit and drive it??
So much money and no hangar. Why? Because they can't hide all the coloured blocks when they do it like that?
Could’ve been built faster but still impressive
Lego hit the nail on the head on this one. But I wish they took the effort to detail the bottom and print the logos instead of off colored stickers. Looks a little tacky
Nice
Im more suprised at the notion you didnt watch anything while building
this set It's wondeful

It’s not even out and the record to beat is 5 minutes.

So much color pest inside, for that price, ridiculous
Incorrect you took 5 minutes and 13 seconds you lied
this looks like sht from the flash
MandR said ”better to watch a review than an ad” but he is (in the most cases) just hating on LEGO, so I don’t agree…
I’d rather watch someone not directly endorsed by the company review a set even if he is more critical

Whenever there is a mirrored piece, I like to build them simultaneously and use my brain to mirror the instructions. That's always a fun exercise.
i reduced the build time on my ucs tie fighter that way
