    I'm not crazy about the four smaller instruction books. I'd rather have one big spiral-bound book. Either way, the finished product, and the packaging all look great!

      I waw expecting the spiral bound book too. Multiple Instruction Manuals for one Lego set is a bit of a peeve for me. It might be more expensive to produce but It's an expensive set to buy

      I mean it's cool if you want to share the experience of building it with someone else. This way everyone can build a part of it, but yeah in smaller sets multiple books suck.

    After just building the gunship, it's interesting to see the difference between that and the atat. The gunship is a stunning replica (the atat is as well) and that's kind of its identity. Whereas with this, I think it's the 'perfect' lego set. Form meets function meets playability meets displayability. You can really see that there was a decade of work put into this. Not hating on the gunship (it's still my favorite set) but it's incredible to see lego build something arguably 'perfect'

      The gunship was a great experience untill you had to fill in the gaps on the side of the wings, those things were a pain to insert

    This looks like one hell of a set!
    That might be on my Lego list (if I can even afford such a beast)
    And if I'm not mistaken this set is minifigure scale. Awesome!

      Unfortunately it’s just a tad small to be considered mini fig scale. But it’s pretty damn close and more than we could ask for

      The At-At is 22 meters high and a human can be up to 2+ meters high, its pretty minifig scale i would say

      A minifig scale AT-AT would be about 12.3 inches tall.

    Lucky for us, that the "skin" of this AT-AT is gray from the movie. If not, Lego has made it also so colorful like his inside.

    I’m glad I saw this video! I just recently bought this off some guy on Facebook and it’s missing the bag 1s, bag 2s and one of the bag 3s so I’m glad to see that I can build everything else while I wait for the replacement parts to come in

    This is so cool! While I admit I probably won’t be buying this set due to just how exorbitantly expensive it is for my budget I am still in awe of its size and scale. It truly is magnificent! Even the unboxing experience was awesome and you can really see the love and attention that went into crafting this set!
    Watching this video helped give me a vicarious appreciation for its technical complexity. It looked like a really challenging and stimulating build…. Also, the sped-up sounds of the boxes being opened and the bricks clicking together was immensely satisfying!

    Really nice time lapse video David. Such an enjoyable watch. I'm impressed with the construction of the legs and ability to articulate them with the tool. That's very cool. I already have the huge mini figure scale RichBoyJhae ATAT MOC and whilst it's far from perfect I still prefer it's over looks to the Lego version. Yep it's unstable but as a display piece it looks really good with more snot technique.

      Putting all the colors in the Set, because AT ATs are so colorful inside... Yes, that would Not have happened 30 years ago! Even the price, with respect to Inflation the price Just skyrocketed for auch a Set. Definitely amazed by Legos Development

    I really wish they would come out with a masters set for the Mandalorian (kom’rk) star fighter, the two sets released for them are at like a 4th of the scale they actually were in the tv show. Those craft were Able to carry tons of soldiers in an underneath rack and had a full cockpit and crew quarters. The Lego ones have barely enough room for 2 soldiers

    Don’t know about you guys, but I think there’s just too many studs showing.
    Personal preference but I think the snot technique would look way better, (in most areas).
    Other than that, this set is wonderful.

      You raise a good point. with the size and free space in this model i bet you’ll see a ton of mods. i am already thinking of adding a motorized lift for Luke like the Brickvault version

    How in the heck did you build this set in only nine hours??? I built their all terrain crane set which was like 4000 pieces and it took me over twenty four hours to build. Damn, I must be getting old! lol

    Wow speedbuild in 9 minutes of this huge AT-AT, amazing. :) One day ill make a speedbuild of it too, but my first speedbuild already took 30 minutes of a way smaller set ^^ So i am a bit scared of how long my speedbuild of this set will take xD Against your build i should call it a slowbuild maybe :P
