His rap was never bad, I’m very picky with kpop rap verses, and so far I think Chanyeol plans and prepares very hard on his rap verse (you can hear it), it doesn’t sound awkward or out of place in the songs, he may not be on the same par with khip-hop rappers, but he is a good kpop rapper. And his voice is just so beautiful and powerful, if he eventually wants to take on rap music as his main genre, I think he can do it.
Chanyeol's delivery is so good. He is able to blend to any of EXO's song. He has a sort of singing style to his rapping that blends well with EXO songs. I wish people would appreciate Chanyeol's approach instead of expecting him to sound like an every other fast, harsh Kpop rapper. (Same goes to Sehun btw, I love how his is almost a laid-back style).

I absolutely love Chanyeol's rapping style. His raps always flow so well with the beat and perfectly complement the music. I've never heard an EXO song where his raps felt randomly inserted or disjointed with the rest of the song. A lot of people nowadays judge the merit of a rapper based on how fast they can rap but in Chanyeol's case his raps have a lot of diversity. With his vocal talents he can add a wonderful melodic quality to his raps and that makes him stand out. His voice is just nice in general, that warm and husky tone of his is really pleasing to the ear. But that doesn't mean Chanyeol can't go hard if he wants to. We've seen already that he's fully capable of rapping with fierceness like in Monster and Lightsaber. The last thing that I love about Chanyeol is that he raps with emotion. I don't need to know the lyrics of a song to understand it because Chanyeol's rapping conveys so much feeling. He's capable of reaching out to the heart of the listener. Park Chanyeol truly is a one of a kind talent and no one can compare

I love EXO songs in general a lot, but Loey's raps are mostly my favourite parts of the songs, especially in songs like lightsaber, obsession, forever, tempo, el dorado, monster, promise, sweet lies, overdose, etc.

Chanyeol’s rap doesn’t focus on speed, his focus is rhythm. His control on pitch and rhythm is one of the best. Its truly underrated… Plus the fact that like other exo members he doesn’t run out of air easily. Idol’s nowadays practice their breathing while moving on their debut era only, after that they slack off and would rather lip sync on their performance… kpop’s standard is getting lower and lower sadly.

Its truly underrated… Plus the fact that like other exo members he doesn’t run out of air easily. Idol’s nowadays practice their breathing while moving on their debut era only, after that they slack off and would rather lip sync on their performance… kpop’s standard is getting lower and lower sadly.
