Love this channel, very understated. Your first week and first 30 days as a new manager helped land me my first management promotion after using a lot of your points in my presentation, thank you👏👏👏
Mike's channel is mega - and if you like this then I'm sure you'll like my channel as well. Mike and I have collaborated on a number of these topics. Nice one getting your first management role! Now the hard work really starts! :-)
Hey pal - nice one. Totally agree with the tip of pushing people and challenging your teams. You'll even get the occasional failure doing it, as not everyone will succeed, but ultimately everyone grows and grows fast if their leadership constantly push and challenge
Keep the videos rolling. I have learned a lot from your videos and try to implement where possible. I have built a strong foundation and relationship with my associates. They see me as a front line leader, rather than a boss and are not hesitant to approach me. Thanks for the advice!
Mike, this is a great series and I'm definitely gleaning extremely useful information. I sincerely appreciate your hard work in sharing your expertise with us. I do have one suggestion as positive and constructive criticism, and I wish there were a way to share it without it being "public." In your free e-book “14 Things New Managers Should Know BEFORE They Start” there are several spelling, grammar and missing word errors in the presentation. I'm sure you were just rushing to get the content out to us, but it could use some polish. I hope this doesn't start a lot of negative comments about being the "grammar police." I'm writing this with the best of intentions, and no malice intended. Keep up the great work!

Leadership is the art of getting someone else to do something you want done because they wants to do it. - Dwight D. Eisenhower
Man, right out the gate! I’m a huge proponent of skipping the email back and forth and have a real conversation.
Right?!?… so much can get lost in the text.
