Going through the exact same thing with my Mom's dog Lola, she has an aggressive form of cancer in her bladder. My Mom and Dad are a mess, my own family is a mess but she lived with our family for 13+ years and brought us all joy. It's life.... all of us, including our fur family only have a finite amount of time on this beautiful planet. Please tell your Mom and family that the Nub Nation send our love and we will always remember Gabby!
Dude when I put my first rescue down so many people cried. All that endless love and happiness they give us and then they only live 10 to 20 years. It sucks to let em go and lose em but it's so worth every minute having them. I know your Mom will probably rescue another dog and too give them an awesome home and family to dog with. Man's best friend.

I saw your vlog and relate to losing Gabby. I lost my furry family member Lucy in September. She was 19 years old and it teared me up to watch her die and just I you I felt helpless in an attempt to comfort or save her. She literally died 3 hours before her doctors appointment and I heard her last breath. She was the only cat that I could ever hold like a baby. I did that usually once a day especially in her last year to let her know that she was loved and appreciated. RIP Gabby!

I truly feel that the loss of a beloved pet is no different than losing a human that we love. I have cried just as hard when my pets have been put down, then when humans I love pass. Ben so sorry about Gabby.I volunteer at a dog shelter seeing dogs in that situation.Each day is a gift,live it and blessed are the memories of our dogs.Gabby is in Heaven wagging her tail waiting for you Ben.
