For people who are new. You don't have to worry about air toxics they currently don't exist either in base or DLC. You can press and hold CTRL to chain craft this includes things like making storage chests, water bottles basically everything. You can build an iron platform and place chests on that since you can't build on the ground. Currently there are no golden chests.
Never played this before, but I have watched people play the game before the DLC. I’m pretty sure I heard him saying that he played the game before so I was wondering why he was so scared of the toxic levels when it didn’t exist before.
@@stefondeal06 Unless they have changed it, there is a new toxic cave area in the base game that you had to be careful in. There was also a really nasty dusty area in the DLC that brought your health meter down very fast, but I think they have taken out that effect with a recent update.
I love how the first planet made everyone paranoid about building a base early because of the flooding. You’re not the only TH-camr I’m watching play this and everyone is afraid to build.
i just build bases to hold junk i loot from wrecks, theres essentially a base in every biome. Some are bigger than others but ive never made a youtuber 'lets destroy my frame rate' base
@@jsnsk101 I have a Main base and am now searching for A new Power source hahaha Haven't found the Crystal haven yet, but once I find it I will be set and I need to get Teleporters, then I will connect all of my little bases together.
Nope, but there are some massive lockers running around. I still have two in the sulfur zone that I haven't touched. It does seem that this DLC is more focused on the heat generation to get into certain areas. . . the amount of change once you get to like 200 M in there terraformation index makes a MASSIVE difference in the map. SO far I have found only one of the tubes that indicate an underground base. I'm thinking there might be more, but there's a TON of places underground to explore and I almost get lost every time, even with beacons.
5:30, this is the area I built my base at. Lots of flat space. It's easier to, once you get the tier 2 solar panels, deconstruct them and place them right back down. Works no matter where they are placed. Only found one that I could not do that with.
Use explosives on those geodes and each will yield 3-4 aluminum. And if you think the map seems big now, wait until later when you get access to the subterranean areas.
Z1GAMING, Great episode. I find it odd that you are this amazing futuristic explorer and you can scan things into existence. However with all your technology and science and engineering you just cannot make shelving. Very odd that this game doesn't give you shelves to put your containers on. But I get it shelves are extremely technical and honestly I can't believe we invented them already in our society.
Saw this nice place, an large flat area at higher level so do not fear future flooding (via a video by Jade PG CRAFTED). It's close to 45:25 of the area you have explored and saw a machine with large box crate (872:290:-520). There is a slop path towards the left side, and if you continue to go up North, you will see that super large and flat area (1194:352:-320). But it's super painful to get off this area without a rocket backpack. P.S. have not find any Golden Crates, so sad. P.P.S. can find more Aluminium if you go further into the volcano area, in the cave at the back.
Maybe they should give us a new blueprint to make an iron shelf, that allows 2-3 blue chests to be stacked into it, SO our Z1 Gaming can finally stack those blue chests! XD
Great play through Sir! Such an Amazing Map, sooooo Amzing and HUGE, I am almost up too Free breathing, can't stop playing hahaha They did such a great job creating this new Map.
I'm having so much fun watching all the new content. Too many good games. Z isn't going to get any rest with so many updates and restarts going on. Good times!!
The 'gold' crates are now army green. I think the first one is against the left-hand wall in the first cave that has a wreck in it, tucked in behind some rocks.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems like those blue chests/crates seem to contain the materials for a habitat. If I'm correct, then there should be less of a worry to push for exploration, or risk getting caught out without an oxygen canister.
I kinda messed up and ran out of food, I can’t tell you how many times I died till I was able to grow my own food. It happened because I didn’t follow the steps and do things when I should have.
Being obsessed with boots and talking about starvation seem mutually exclusive. It makes more sense to place multiple T1 tubes to boost oxygen production. Having 1 tube when you are drowning in seed availability is just stupid.
Going with the lore behind most intergalactic travel games, the radiation is of a different planet. A space suit might be good survivability for earth's radiation, but not another planet. Could be stronger or just foreign. Hope that makes sense
In the base game, if you try to enter the new lush desert biome prior to the Lakes phase, you'll take environmental damage from the sandstorm. That and the irradiated caves also added in that same update have taught players that yes, environmental hazards can be a thing.
What bugs me the most about your playthroughs is the fact you open a chest and take 1 item and leave the chest full of stuff you actually need, especially early game. Watching you do that and then 10 minutes later try and build something and you don't have all the raw materials because you left them in the boxes is just painful to watch.
As much as I like the game, without the item stacking mod it's just so frustrating. My own game is just starting to fill with standing water and I'm making plans to move base locations. Slightly annoyed about it as I have a fairly developed base right in the same area you (and others) set your 'camp' in. I see you also got the giant zeolite, mine vanished after blue skies or about there. Also, has global heat increases, in addition to the ice, a lot of the snow will melt which will open/uncover ground, particularly on top of the mountain with the fun cave. 'Golden' planets can be found randomly, but there are a fair number of 300% plants that can be found.
I'm glad I didn't follow that advice. I checked a crate when full and found the last pulsar quartz I needed to build the extra power I needed. I made room for it.
Z1 in these games is like a Labrador in the bush "Oooo Squirrel" LOL

why does this not have more likes?! this makes base building SO much easier!

There are green chests that deconstruct into 1 iron though.

just to let you know there are no GOLDEN Crates in DLC
No wardens

There might be some alternate crates when they add an update
@@PI_Joe_Mama There do seem to be a few places that might hold a spot for future stuff.
They added green crates instead I believe 23 of them

Love your videos Z1 and in the last week I completed you planet crafter complete playlist and I was so excited when I saw planet humble videos.
Don't forget you can Ctrl click to quickly move all of the same resources between chest and inventory
Z1 was doing that in some old Planet Crafter videos but seems like he's forgotten
instead of carrying oxygen tanks i carry enough material to build a quick oxygen refil pod and disassemble it when im full up
Doing great Z1. Keep it up ❤.
I've been binge watching your Planet Crafter playlist (still on ep 58), and on every (re)start you try to stack the blue chests XD
Maybe they should give us a new blueprint to make an iron shelf, that allows 2-3 blue chests to be stacked into it, SO our Z1 Gaming can finally stack those blue chests! XD
I wish we could stack these crates, or have a 1-tile tall crates. 😅
I explored quite a bit and I have yet to find a golden crate. And the yellow area is just a sulfur field that isn't toxic.
Great play through Sir! Such an Amazing Map, sooooo Amzing and HUGE, I am almost up too Free breathing, can't stop playing hahaha They did such a great job creating this new Map.
use ya jetpack and always take everything in a crate then you know that the crate you see is one you havent opened'
I'm having so much fun watching all the new content. Too many good games. Z isn't going to get any rest with so many updates and restarts going on. Good times!!
You can put blue crates out side on a foundation
Whoo hoo almost an hour long video now that's what I'm talking about ❤
This is so exciting please upload 2 planet crafter videos a day
If you use explosives on those geodes they each yield 4 aluminum.
What you think is the "toxic" area is actually where you get Sulphur
The 'gold' crates are now army green. I think the first one is against the left-hand wall in the first cave that has a wreck in it, tucked in behind some rocks.
The screen on the orecrusher shows you what you can crush.
41:21 Are these the spheres that required the explosives by the Iridium?
I chose to build my base next to the ship outside. It is pretty flat and a good build site in general.
Not emptying out the ore crusher is limiting its effectiveness.
More more please post moreeeee. I NEED MORE. I CANT WAIT
Thank you Zeee 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👋🏾
Dont drink water until your bar is nearly empty as one bottle completely fills your guage
I'm waiting to see next episode pleas give it quick as possible.. love from Srilanka..❤️
Looks good keep up the good work
I bet the rover will have no trouble with this terrain.
The music sounds like its inspired by a mix of MassEffect and Subnautica and i greatly approve.
loving the new planet
Looks like the ore crusher converted Uranite into Dolomite
Z1 has flooding PTSD
Love it!
The map may not be as big as the base game but there is a LOT more verticality to the map. It goes real deep.
The cracks on the planet's surface indicate a dry lake bed which will probably flood eventually. I bet those tubes are the remains of sea creatures.
You can deconstruct the empty crates for 1 iron ore
Since I can never decide where I want my base till way down the tech tree, I tend to build a BUNCH of small bases throughout the map lol
You are having better luck on loot than I'm in the game.
Ice, ice... baby 🤣; very Vanilla resources 🤣
I built my base where you really want to build your base. So far I like it there.
wait till you get a jetpack and see the massive wreck beyond the hoop buildings !
spoiler: once you get to blue sky the next task is to open a card shop
Been all over. No golden crates. No golden seeds, trees or butterflys
Edit* found golden butterfly lava
Bauxite converts into aluminum in the ore crusher
At 43.30 ish is where you use those explosives!
Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems like those blue chests/crates seem to contain the materials for a habitat. If I'm correct, then there should be less of a worry to push for exploration, or risk getting caught out without an oxygen canister.
Leaving all that old T1 tech near your landing pod feels a bit like littering to me...
I hope we get multiplayer soon

Seriously, it makes sense to build as much as possible, then explore.
Why would an area be toxic? You’re wearing a space suit.
Going with the lore behind most intergalactic travel games, the radiation is of a different planet. A space suit might be good survivability for earth's radiation, but not another planet. Could be stronger or just foreign. Hope that makes sense
@@admittedbrake9983by then I would presume that we would be able to make some sort of alloy to counter that

i feel like you have seen the map before, starting ,you going to the "best" places everytime ....
I really hope people know why he said ice ice baby
That’s strange. I’m looking at the same area in my game and there is no giant zeolite.
3rd day playing planet humble an found 0 golden chest but found a golden tree underground.
Spacesuit!
Please do more tic card shop
17:06 if you don’t get the reference then you too young 😂😂😅 am old 😢

There are no golden cchests
just checking to see what items did he miss during gameplay
😂 constantly leaves a trolly comment but constantly watches
im waiting for them to release this on GOG, i hate steam
looks like mmmaaaybe sulfur lol
You should build higher. Once the ice melts, lots of places will be underwater....
sigmanian
Guess so

Please stop checking new crates when your inventory is full !!!
I'm glad I didn't follow that advice. I checked a crate when full and found the last pulsar quartz I needed to build the extra power I needed. I made room for it.
Not a hard and fast rule but he seems to open /every/ crate 😆
really bro, an AD within a minute, stop the GREED!
First ?
