Mark really is an inspiration. Anyone who has the perseverance to train and win a bronze medal in the Olympics right after the broke their ribs is definitely incredible.
***** why the fuck would you tear up from this bull shit, why are they dramatizing this. just go fucking skate and snowboard why add silly this silly emotional aspect
It was kinda a freak accident. I was at my best friends birthday party and I went down a water slide. The slide was obviously not safe and I was going down way to fast and I just landed on my ankle super hard and i believe it wasn't that bad. But the staff made me walk on it towards the first aid area. I think that was what made it worse. Turns out my growth plate was fractured and the bone was completely out of place. I needed surgery to have it heal normally. I've been off it for like 10 weeks. It sucks
I would love to know who directed this and who the cinematographer was. This video has some of the best camera moves and lighting I've seen in a Redbull video in a long time. Love it more like this please :)
like honestly i admire you mark because i live in alberta and its hard as hell to ride here and become pro, but to ride in that flat of a place would be hard asf
David Murauski lmfao true I'm south of Chicago and I have to go to four lakes and it's so small I barely get out to like devils head and cascade. On vacation we usually go to Colorado so I can go to A basin
Well, there goes my excuse for not being a great snowboarder like Mark. I used to say that if i was born i Colorado into a skiing family then i might be a pro. But no, Stupid Ohio with its 50 degree temperature swings daily, and no real snow yet.
Coming from a rich family that dad bought them season passes since probably 5...I don't think there's much adversity there. Nothing taken away, McMorris brothers are nasty but they had a lot more opportunity than I or most snowboarders.
no he was the first to do a triple in competition, and it was not a triple cork, just a triple wildcat. Torstein is my favourite rider though so I'm not hating at all.
James Hutton my 10 year old son made this comment, lol... he looks up to all the elite riders, including Mark. He really wants his own Red Bull helmet someday :)

I love mark and chraig's voice😍
i want to meet him so badly :(
Im fairly sure Torstein Horgmo was the first to do a triple cork, but none the less, ballsy
Thats what I thought too. Pretty sure it was. Nonetheless still bloody mad.
I think he was the first to do it in competition.
Torstein did the first triple in a competition, Mark did the first triple cork in a competition.
what? no no, X Games 2011 Torstein got gold for landing the first ever triple cork in competition.
No he didn't, it was a triple wildcat. No cork rotation at all, but still sick for it's time none the less.
Yes mark inspires me for sure
like honestly i admire you mark because i live in alberta and its hard as hell to ride here and become pro, but to ride in that flat of a place would be hard asf

They probably had a lot more talent too which was recognized very early on and invested in. They're not nasty in any way.
Saskatchewan is hardly the flattest province in Canada. Way less hills in Manitoba.
dude they are pretty even, but I have lived in both, and Saskatchewan is flatter
champ
torstien landed the first tripple wtf with I guess redbud is fronting on rockstar
+Mike Diesel ***first triple cork in competition***
Jessica Runyon Travis Rice landed the first triple cork
Mike Diesel source? cause after re doing research it was mark mcmorris to land it first and then torstein to do it switch
+Mike Diesel TRAVIS RICE DID NOT LAND THE FIRST TRIPLE CORK. TORSTIEN HORGMO DID
+Mike Diesel Torstein landed the first back 12 triple, Mark landed the first back 14 triple
