  • Many miniature wargames have high model counts that makes moving models around difficult. Of course this can be easily solved by using movement trays. The only problem with this is that spending money on movement trays uses up the money you have to spend on more models. Fortunately there is another solution. You can make your own, practically for free! In this episode, I demonstrate my method for making miniature movement trays with materials that won't break the bank. Sit back and enjoy the video, and most importantly please remember to subscribe.
If you like miniature wargaming of any type including Warhammer, 40k, dioramas, Advanced Dungeons and Dragons (D&D), Black Powder, napoleonics, historicals and Bolt Action, I suggest you watch as this video.

Thanks for another entertaining and informative video.
You bear a slight resemblance to Americas former CIA director Mike Pompeo. I look at you as if you might know some of the secrets of terrain making. I like when sourcing is shown, costs shown. I tend to like longer videos to shorter ones.
I'm am particularly interested in scale and cost. I tend to make things like I'm making one today and ten tomorrow. As if I was going to open a factory line of 'em. I try to keep the cost down and use low cost items or items bought in bulk.
Keep the videos coming if you're so inclined, they're
    appreciated..
    With respect,

For bases I pull up signs advertising "work from home" etc and use a similar railing, basswood being cheaper than balsa.

Not "absolutely essential". I've been playing wargames for more than 50 years without them.

How do you base your models? In groups on a single base?

@@MiniatureLandscapeHobbies Generally, yes. I have some individually based for skirmish games.
