Most gay guys I’ve known (and I’ve known a few) would confirm that the person is gay before they got this far. Only time I got caught out for a long time was once at a gay bar (which was understandable for him to assume that others there were gay and not just there because they had the best pinball machines like I was).

This could’ve easily been a regular guy trying to show off his social lifestyle by spending money on his friends.
