  • In this video I set up a wild camp with my rapid deploy tent, on a remote beach, with no food I head out into the ocean to find something to eat, which I then catch and cook up on the beach.

    We have this lovely pretty isolated little spot near us called 'Stone Point' I used to go camping there with mates as a kid. I now go back in the tender and gather samphire to enjoy with the wild bass from our fishmonger. Watching these vids Dom, your making me want to go buy a little tent and make a real adventure of it. Ginny say's I'm crazy though at 72!

      Some of the best adventures we’ve had were under the command of a man in his mid 80’s, who joined us at our wedding last year and was one of the last people standing on the dance-floor.
      Nothing crazy about squeezing in some more adventures when you can 😌🙏🏼

      I’m glad you enjoyed coming along. These off-shoot videos are much less about me, or us, but just trying to capture exactly what it is that I love about this aspect of my life, quietly and as close to how I experience it as possible 😌🙏🏼

    I watched this from the cabin of my boat in Torbay,chilling after dinner. Got me thinking…. I’ve just bought snorkel, fins, mask and wetsuit…. I think it’s time to buy a speargun. Thanks for the inspirational videos.

    I hope this becomes more popular than the other channel. I can't stand people who force their politics down everyone's throats. I've had just enough of that isht. I think we all have.

    Just watched your video and followed you here, I understand you have to appeal financially to a broad church but follow your gut, it is after all your channel.

      If I’m honest my hope is that by less people making triggered comments on the main channels videos then I will find myself partaking in less keyboard warrior fights myself, ha ha, so selfishly in giving myself more time with my family, or just doing anything more useful than arguing with strangers online, a habit I found myself in far too often 😬😬😬

      @@AVeryBritishAdventure I'm guessing that you find some inner peace and grace by being in nature so maybe the lesson is not to bite when confronted by said so called keyboard warriors and remember that you now choose when you step into the proverbial ring.

      You know it’s nice to share these exactly as I experience them. It’s only when I’m out in nature, finding and eating food, that the chatter in my head actually just stops, so if feels great to be able to make the videos in exactly the same way, just the sounds I hear naturally around me and the epic sights I see too 😌🙏🏼

    Excellent. Looks like a nice place to anchor too. Is it? Where is it?

    • @AVeryBritishAdventure
      @AVeryBritishAdventure  หลายเดือนก่อน

      It’s a nice spot called studland bay. Although anchoring is quite a contentious issue these days (sea grass and sea horses) so there’s lots of moorings which have been added over the last couple of years (yes, paid moorings) and the non anchoring zone is technically voluntary, but you’ll get a boat come out and essentially lecture you if you do anchor, but some people still do.

      I haven't been to Studland for a couple of years last time I was there the booking balls were free. I guess a bit of sea grass plowing will be in order then.
