A Skyline's Severance
Ah. Lots of people don't like this album but as a big fan of the classic operatic metal bands like Dio and Iron Maiden, I find myself jamming really hard to a lot of the songs on this record. It's a really fun take on that classic sound with a their own sound mixed in. Given the circumstances with Matt's voice at the time, I respect the decision to move to a style more befitting of these kind of croony cleans as opposed to just keeping a metalcore sound which really begs for screams. This album is not perfect, the drums are by far the weakest of any of their albums and it does get repetitve, but there's some really solid songwriting here and the bonus tracks on the Special Edition are really great.

I never really listened to them. I seen them recently at Knotfest IOwa and when they played this song the crowed went cray cray lol.
You need to do a reaction to Down From the Sky. In my top five best songs from them.
If anything he has some tones similar to david dramond on the chorus imo

It´s a really good song but pretty rock-ish and way less technical than most other songs they´ve done. You have to listen to some ascendancy stuff from back in the day, that´s the album that got trivium big and known in metal scene for a reason. A good start would be Pull harder or Like light to flies (not the video because it´s shortened a lot). Cheers :)
This is the most "single-y" sounding single they've done IMO. Before this track I'd argue that this title would've belonged to "Dying In Your Arms" off of Ascendancy (2005). I don't hate this song by any means but Dying In Your Arms still retains that Trivium signature sound whilst also having some more accessible tendencies I feel where as this does seem a little boring/bland & forced simply for the sake of generating revenue/views.
