You should listen to Trivium - The Sin and the Sentence. It really summarizes all the sounds/styles from their more melodic songs to their fast and heavy songs. Plus it includes their new drummer who really helped take them to new heights
I think this album (Silence in the Snow) and the following one (Vengeance Falls) had more clean vocals than the rest of their works because Matt (singer) actually had some throat issues which impacted his ability to do his gutturals. Their last three albums, though (The Sin & The Sentence, IX, and The Court of the Dragon) have had a good mix of harsh and clean vocals again.
This is the probably the most "mainstream/radio friendly" you're gonna hear from Trivium, just as a heads up 😆🤘They are typically a lot more instrumentally technical & intense and usually feature a good amount of harsh/screaming vocals. Always have great choruses & hooks though, on top of the incredible instrumental work. Their track "Into the Mouth of Hell We March" is probably a good middle ground of their more heavy sound, whilst providing some quite melodic moments/vocals. Though there are plenty of tracks to pick from. 😂👍🤘
I highly recommend you to react to their song 'Caustic Are The Ties That Bind' (the studio/album audio, not live). It's my favorite song by them and one of their most underrated ones. I think you could like that one a lot. Trivium is one of my favorite bands, so I really liked your reaction! 👍🏻👍🏻
one of my favourite bands not seen them live yet unfortunately. i remember back in the old days i think it was maybe sims 2? theres a simish version of like light to the flies in the game XD
Sickness Unto You, Bending the Arc to Fear, Bleed Into Me, Thrown into the Fire, In The Court Of The Dragon. Another band you should definitely check out, Lorna Shore, they have extremely harsh vocals, but The Pain Remains Trilogy is an absolute masterpiece, bring Kleenex and DO NOT WATCH IF SUICIDE IS A TRIGGER FOR YOU! That much being said, watch the official video with the lyrics, and do the whole thing in one sitting, it's 20 minutes that is absolutely amazing.
This is in my terms a softer song for Trivium although still one of my absolute favorites. Try "Like light to flies" or "Gunshot to the head of trepidation"
A perfect follow-up to this would be, from the next album, Sever The Hand or Betrayer. I love this song and i love the album, but this song (and whole album) is kinda them at their most pulled back, still some amazing shit but it's the least consistently awesome album upon relistens (speaking as a long time fan). Idk what else you've listened to and liked so i'm not about to suggest you go to the total opposite end, but if you want to see the other extent of their range where it's full on in your face, check out Thrown Into The Fire or Ampngst The Shadows And The Stones
Bad song to request for trivium first hear, should have picked We Are The Fire, In Waves or from the same album The Thing That’s Killing Me give the listener something to react to that is truer to their type of music
This is the tip of the iceberg of Trivium! Soooo many good songs by them. One of my favorite bands
You can do anything off their last 3 album which has their new Drummer Alex bent. That dude took that band to a whole new level!
Thanks for the info!! I’ll have to look for more recent songs!

Saw them on their last tour, this song was incredible live.
Also, Amongst The Shadows And The Stones, all the intensity you need

Fantastic track this would be ideal for a Resident Evil game or movie!!!

i can certainly check out more!
Underrated album imo, same with Vengeance Falls...you dont need to be "smash your face" with every song to have an effect you want to get across
Definitely recommend One of us by The word Alive featuring Bad omens!
Sleeping with sirens and vic 🤌
Hey brandy i was wondering if you could check out the song walk by pantara ❤
Love that song but not familiar with the video so i could check it out!
React to Trivium- the sin and the sentence
As much as I like Trivium, nobody beats As I Lay Dying in the metal core aspect. They were to good of a heavy and soft mix, fuck the controversy shit.
I do need to check out more from them!

Breaking Benjamin? Lol
