I would love to see the special Weapons Dalek return again but this time in combat or like brought in to destroy a defensive emplacement that the Daleks are struggling to get through.
Love the updated video, Special Weapon Dalek have always been my favorite, I do wish to see the Dalek Emperor again (both classic & modern, if now a new design that combine the 2)
It seems very in-character for the Daleks to shun the Special Weapons Dalek until they needed it. It really is cool, and I'm amazed they haven't brought back some version of it in the new series (beyond the cameos of the classic one). Also, the Special Weapons Dalek used in the Asylum is actually the same prop from "Remembrance of the Daleks". It is so far the only true Classic Who Dalek prop to be used in the new series.
I wish we saw more of the special weapons dalek in new who, just to see what its weapon would look like if it was fired today... granted it would probably just look like when those daleks destroyed a house in The stolen earth, but just one unit doing it instead of three, but it would still be nice to see.
We know fans love the time war daleks but would also love to see a new design (or at least a new colour scheme). A story that relies on a Special Weapons dalek could bridge that gap between the time war daleks and a new design
I have always known the SWD by the nickname 'Boomy' due it his enormously loud gun. Like with tanks, where there are standard tanks and then tank destroyers, the SWD is in effect a Dalek Destroyer and mobile cannon.
I thought that the SWD from Rememberance was originally with the Renegades and with the radition altered its mind, he changed to serve Davros and the Imperials. That's what I heard a while ago. I'd love to see animations of this Temporal SWD. Verry interesting. Maybe RTD can do an episode on that for Gatwa's first Dalek story. Give the Dalek story abit of a change.
I love the idea of a legion of berserker special weapons Daleks unleashed against an enemy to inflict maximum carnage. They remind me of Necron Destroyers
It's interesting you used a regular special weapons dalek for the genocide machine but as far as im aware it was a Special Weapons Variant Dalek called scout seven as depicted by Lee Sullivan in his illustration for the story in Doctor Who Magazine 290 especially since you did mention it later on when talking about airborb special weapons daleks
@@SamhainRegen666 I debated this myself, I'm not sure where the illustrations stand in terms of 'canon' as there's a bit of a disconnect between what we hear in the audio and what's depicted in the illustration
I love DALEK special weapons for their design and their appearance, there are some Fanmade DALEK movie that explain how the special weapon DALEK existed because of paradigm DALEK and I wish BBC and Disney Brought all Daleks and special Weapon Daleks too to represent many special Weapons Daleks, both empirical, time war and renegate
I think doctor who just needs to stop teasing us and actually give us an episode where the special weapons dalek does something beside be a background character
I think the Quasimodo Dalek from The Dalek Project should make an appearance on TV Going on a side tangent, my favourite fanmade Special Weapons Daleks are the Dalek STORM and the Special Weapons Dalek design by DarkAngelDTB.

I’m literally in the middle of 3D printing a special weapons Dalek when you posted this 😂
Post a quick video of it when done?
Never forgive Moffat for bringing back the special weapons dalek TWICE, but never allowing it to shoot its gun.

That variant needs to return.

The special weapons dalek did appear in new and the original doctor who series
I’d love to see a Spec Weap again.
1:17 the new special effects are different like the original special effects

I love the idea of a Dalek minder, it’s almost like the Dalek equivalent of an army dog handler.

I do Love the special weapons DALEK story and I wish this story was brought back to life since it’s amazing and magnificent story of weapon Daleks
The Special Weapons Dalek is my favourite.
I always thought it would kinda suck to be a special, dont even get a manipulator arm to hold tea,
I’d love to see more of them

Ooh! What a big gun...
I also Love the special Weapon DALEK Species and variant
Would love to see the fan fave Dalek Storm get a role in an episode. If he's not special, WTF is 😊
I reiterate my comment from the last video…
I want to see a Spider Special Weapons Dalek
🐙💥
Dalek
I need character to rerelease the special weapons dalek asap
Panzer dalek
That's not a Dalek gun. This is a Dalek gun.
so a dalek version of a dreadnought basically ?
I always wondered how daleks reproduce
....don't ask me why I wondered that
I’ve always assumed cloning or for daleks that cared less for purity by converting humans and other kaled like species
@@jcrossan1351 cared less for purity?
ABOMINATION
They play sweet Jazz and light a few candles before they take of their casings. Then the mutants do tentacle play so steamy the Japanese would blush.
Dalek vehicles.. surely they need a tank
