Bought this yesterday in Northern Kentucky and I have the same barrel no. as you guys! I'm highly impressed!
I got the white label but have not uncorked it yet now I got to get that new one now lol but I should be able to get it I love in NKY. I Like the Jim Beam black also.I only used to drink the couple Bourbons I grew up on but thanks to you all I have expanded my bourbon count to about 63 so thanks for all your videos and keep it up.

When I first bought Larceny, it was $12 for a 750! I still like it more than many more expensive wheaters.

Picked up several bottles in VA for $25, and it’s pretty darn good stuff for the money. Still a Booker’s fan, but this is readily available and for a few bucks more than JB white or black, I enjoy it

That single barrel is really good.
On the North Carolina ABC pricing list it is replacing the 95 proof single barrel for the same price, $40. I'm still excited to try it, not a bad deal for a single barrel >100 proof. I'd be interested to see how it compares to other affordable, high proof Beam products like OGD 114 and Knob Creek SB and SiB. For reference: OGD 114 is $30, Knob Creek SB and SiB are $37 and $50, respectively, and Jim Beam's line of Black, Bonded, Devil's Cut, and Double Oak are all $27.
I also second Gary Edward's flight fight suggestion as well.
I think for Jim Beam fans, a 108 single barrel bourbon probably raises some eyebrows and would be a great addition on the bar.
I literally just saw a bottle of this while picking up some Larceny because of you two. Didn't grab it though.
Also $25 in Virginia. Better than the one that was $40. Probably changed because I never met a person who bought that twice. This comes in appropriately cheaper than knob creek and the high end line.
Would love a Jim Beam flight from you two! Please include Devil's Cut in the JB mix/flight - one of my favorite budget/bang for the buck bourbons.

I was a little disappointed with the first neck pour . It did open up and get much better afterwards . I hate the screw cap on a $30 plus bottle .🥃😕

You all said this was filtered and removed the fatty acids. Then said it would be cloudy if chilled. I thought the point of that was that it would stay clear when chilled or dropping the proof. Need a little better understanding I guess.

The single barrel showing in MI still shows 95 proof for $39.99. Even if they did get in the 108 proof if I ordered, it doesn't sound like it's worth more than $30 tops based on this review.

everyone's palate is different, so for your reviews to have more meaning to me I would like to know what nose and tastes you specifically like and dislike. With that , I could better know how your reviews fit my likes and dislikes of both nose and palate . If this has been addressed previously, I apoligize.
David James No worries, Sara doesn’t lie the nose or taste of anything that leans towards licorice. I don’t like a strong banana nose or taste unless it’s more of a banana bread note. Love nutty, barrel and char, as long as hey don’t too strong. Same with floral and to a lesser degree fruity.
I'd love to see you guys drink Scotch or something else.

Just tried my first, Barrel 000426108. Garbage IMO. Extra char notes just tastes like Old No. 7 to me... just purchased a more expensive bottle of Gentlemen Jack
Glad I read this, was about to give it a try but I hate Gentleman Jack. Such a boring whiskey to me.
