the thing i will say is if you have aim assist really high you can’t hit weak points headshots because it’ll just keep dragging you down towards there body
@@apheqzz I did not find that happened at all. All weapons have recoil patterns and move away from where auto aim starts. I find it best to have auto aim on shooting from the hip mode and off for hold aiming.
If you can enable frame generation you should. You do need a high hz monitor to do so but it makes all teh difference. I can run my xbox series x on fidelity with frame generation on with 60 frames minimum. Just test to see what your monitor can handle. Oh and great video as always DPJ. Youre gldoing a solid for a lot of the console players

@@manuelsax_9815 Yes it is, all you need is a VRR 120HZ HDMI 2.1 capable monitor/TV. Frame generation will cause the game to run at 120Hz and smoother than just regular Performance. A third "Balanced" option is also available if you have such screen, which allows for a lower quality more FPS targeted Ray tracing mode.

Frame rate generation is a MUST, i can enable it and it makes frames better but i think u need an hdmi 2.1 and a 120+ monitor or tv
this makes my frames worse for some reason, lol
It doesnt really work for me either, also image looks blurry when using it
Doesnt work, it actually makes the frame rate choppy and gives you a light white flickering
I changed this setting to on and had fps dips and screen cracking.
Although I remedied this by changing the tv setting for AMD freesync from 'wide' to 'high'. VRR must also be on.
As far as I'm aware, I think you need to have a 120hz/fps capable TV. Many are not
It makes worse and game noticeable bad in graphics.
Not sure if it been said yet in your vods or anyone elses. But changing the ps5 x button from interact to square and rescue teammate to also sqaure is a must. You dont jump when trying to heal or trying to infiltrate. Since iv changed mine its been working great only issue i have some times is if my guns not reloaded but its almost always reloaded so not a great deal. Any ways hope this helps some people.
the issue I am having with aim assist on console is fighting against it for head shots. If i turn it all the way off, the game almost makes it harder for you to acquire targets. Turned on, and it auto tracks to center mass every time which robs you of those sweet head shots and crit shots.
Stop aiming in with left trigger until you have locked on to target
@@yiekue1534it still does it regardless. Tried resetting the aim to where i want to target and the auto aim target feature just drags your aim away. I hope they do something about that
Put all auto aim at 65, then micro adjust from there, 70 is a bit too much drag. Lower to have more thumb control

I believe it a bug or something atm but I believe they added it to there list of fixes. Cause it was working on the console beta

I’m playing on PlayStation 5 and on Kingston inside the house you play at the beginning the frames are horrible. Even at performance mode sometimes frames goes down to 30-40.

I think we just have to wait for developers to fix it. The game just came out so I would expect a few bugs here and there.

@@theingsinator2567 it will just have to be something that you will have to be mindful of when switching games. If you play PS5 and have the controller with paddles, you can make 3 presets and have separate button mapping for each. It's a little pricey but worth it if you have the extra funds. I really enjoy mine. You can also get replacement sticks if one starts having stick drift. May be worth looking into for you. Hope this help bud. ✌️
I'd like to see the world a little bit more alive there is not enough enemies out in the world of all I'm having fun with it though.. the only thing I don't like is the way you start the missions that could have did something different with that

I really enjoy the game but the Controller aiming feels so off. Ive tried so many things but eventually switched to mouse and keyboard.
There’s a lot of problems with hdr and sdr in this game with crushed blacks washed out image or raised black levels.
I've turned hdr off looks way better
I really wish if it has Gyro control for aiming on the ps4/ps5.
every third person shooter like these I played I always go to the option to see if it support Gyro aiming.
I hope they add it in the future.
My only complaints on this game are the frameworks at times when there's so much going on all at once and then Paints being single use only.
Thank you DPJ these settings are way better than the default ones and make playing the game a lot smoother and a lot more enjoyable. As for assisted aim with this game it just doesn't work you literally don't lock onto anything even with it turned on.
Well for 2 days I haven’t managed to play because Tuesday Microsoft servers down and yesterday I couldn’t log in on the game same thing because of server issues I don’t know if I managed to play for 30 min

Idk about the aim assist on this game. When I try to aim at an enemies head, it always pulls the crosshair down to the mid level of the enemy. Especially with the bigger vulgus.

Sounds like a you problem to me chief.
I dont see how needing to press your thumbstick is an issue, especially seeing as 99% of console games with sprinting is with the left thumbstick.
Do you by chance have 24 karat gold thumbsticks.
@@Brandon25043 perhaps he is like me, on driving games I have to remove horn from L3 , if not I'm honking every time I make a turn - so in this game we keep turning sprint on and off

ye would be cool. sometimes in pressure situations I accidentally press the left stick and get confused if Im kinda blocked by enemys or whatever until I realize I just cancelled my sprint lol
i would recommend leaving the bottom two aim assist settings on 25/25 and the top on on zero, the aim assist is fckin weird in this game
It's ridiculously weird. I prefer these types of games on the comfort of a controller but switched to mouse cuz of the aiming.

@kold151 honestly man I turned them all down to 0 except the aim assist sensitivity. I'm still not sure what that one does exactly.
The tracking and camera movement definitely to 0 because even at 1 I feel it pulls my aim too much.

I had to turn down the Mic Colume to 20 so i wouldn't blow my friends eardrums while in game chat. If you hear somwone that is extremely loud and sound like the mic is right next to their mouth, that seems to be the cause. Hope this helps someone else.

Try turning on performance setting at the start up menu. Some stutters, but much better than before
@@jrod7929Dang really? Even solo in the first mission zone I was getting crazy inconsistent performance. Buttery smooth one moment, then prob 20fps the next. (This is on performance mode too)

For console this game is missing Display Area Setting cause it's way too zoomed in for me
One thing I’ve noticed is that this game makes the ps5 overheat like mental, where as other games I can play hours for. I feel there should be a optimisation update especially for ps5. I don’t know about Xbox
Maybe you have to clean your Ps5, or place it somewhere else bro. My Ps5 isnt getting hot with any games Im playing. Before you ask, I play a lot. Yesterday I played this game for like 12 hours non stop and my Ps5 just gets really warm, but not hot at all if I compare it to my Pc or even Nintendo Switch or Ps4 before.

I have 3 monitors and I can’t get this game to play on my main monitor without going to windowed and switching screens. But then it doesn’t match my monitors resolution. Anyone know what maybe be my problem. I can’t find any information on this anywhere.
I would recommend people really turn down a lot of the aim assist settings, with the default settings its nearly impossible to hit headshots because the aim assist has an EXTREMELY STRONG pull towards center mass. It makes precision aiming with snipers and hand cannons nearly impossible.

increase your field of view. its not really gonna make it move faster but itll feel faster
PS5 = FOV - 110, X sens - 100, Y sens - 50 (aim no change)

Same for me. I switched to the PS4 version and it runs much smoother. You keep your progression so you can switch back when they fix the PS5 version.

I think by default its Triangle button. Check the button layout settings in options to be sure.

You have to do it at the start menu screen not after you're loaded into the game. You'll see a blue X for options at the title screen.
If you're in game, back out restart the game and go to the title screen, you'll see an OPTIONS menu with a blue X button prompt. It saves there.

Aim auto tracking is awful turned up high
On Xbox SX looks and runs very good. Push SHARPENING in the display menu to 8-9, the graphics will be MUCH better and sharper!

We don't not aim assist 😂 but ok. Yes i will still say because its true it was created over 25 years ago for console to help. To say "We need aim assist" is crazy. The sad truth is most are dogwater without 😂 I feel bad for those who have to use it.
