As someone with a lot of old O&G minis already, I look forward to pick up some kits to boost several of my units in a way that's been hard to do through the second hand market the last few years.

Can’t wait for the orc boyz and boar boyz to come back basically all I need to complete my army. Really hope we get some new generic goblin kits someday that match the AOS snarlfang riders aesthetic!

The pricing that we've seen so far for the returning plastic kits has not been as high as the newer kits. So we're not being charged modern prices for old kits.

      That's good to hear

We are being charged modern prices for old kits and sometimes more.
GW do have a pricing model for very old models, generally it's £25 for 20 old models (1998-2003 era models), the only current examples (the old zombies being discontinued recently) are the Marauders (2002), Night Runners (2002) and Spider Riders (2006). Most companies would lower the price for old trash. I just checked, the price has gone up to £27.50 for 20 old figures (Marauders). The Tomb Guard GW released in plastic (2011) are £47.50 now whereas GW's recent AoS skeleton refresh (2021) are £37.50 for 20 so you're often paying MORE than modern prices despite being inferior models.
This stuff just isn't affordable, which is why WFB died in the first place. They are charging TWICE as much for metal as their competitors (and metal is expensive today). They didn't even bother to make this stuff in resin (overall). I can buy 3rd party Warhammer models retooled to be resin that are flawless for less than what GW charge for plastic: so there's no reason why GW couldn't be casting this stuff in resin rather than metal. They just can't be bothered and don't' respect the customers enough to go that extra mile - but they'll charge DOUBLE premium price for it!

Sigh. The price for the Tomb Guard is lower now, in nominal terms, than it was in 2015. It's just not true to say we're being charged modern prices for old kits.
You're perfectly at liberty not to want to pay the prices, and I think it would be good if GW had more competition from other companies, and if people gave models from other companies a fair go.
But GW have actually made a big change in the pricing of Old World models compared to when they cancelled the game, and it would be dishonest and wrong not to acknowledge that.

@@timothyharnedy4495 Norcha gave some examples - how is GW not ripping people off on the pricing here? I've been around for the first time we had WHFB, and I see nothing to praise about the prices.
