Remember that Zenitsu uses sound to locate his enemies, so when he takes on daki he doesn't know what she looks like. zenitsu is just remembering the voice of the oiran, also all of his movements are so fast that you don't see him with his sword drawn out bc all of his techniques starts and end with the sword in his scabbard.
i think he sees things through his dreams. but if he is what you said then he is even far superior than daredevil.
@@asimplelettuce233 that's the point of Zenitsu, the author made sure Zenitsu has a certain flaw which is his lack of confidence and anxiety. Because if he's awake and fully aware doing all of this, he would be stronger than most Hashiras right away.. but dont worry, he will power up even more in the later season/s.

THIS ANIMATION IS TRULY IN A LEAGUE OF ITS OWN! PHENOMENAL EPISODE
The animation is Oscar worth. This blows everything else I've seen out of the water and it's not even some sort of big budget film (although I'm sure the budget was huge).
3:58 There is a special page from the Author in the manga that say tengen is number 2 strongest at arm wrestling after Gyomei (Stone Pillar) this dude is a beast
Yeah, 2nd strongest in term of physical strength
It also ranked all the hashira in running speed and Tengen got 1st place
And only used 2 forms against an upper moon he mostly used his sword skill and bombs

Tengen did seem shocked when he said, "So even Rengoku couldn't defeat an upper rank demon". Plus Rengoku was the first among our current Hashira Demon Slayers to fight an upper moon and he protected the boys & the passengers which makes him even more respectable amongst his peers.
It would be nice to see their relationship, even in a flashback. Just more of the current Hashira dynamic.

@@_SPXDE_ Rengoku was the first Hashira of their generation or of the nine of them to fight an upper rank demon.
That’s a bit of a reach to say that tengen seemed shocked when he said that lol none of the current hashira really know how strong the upper moons are because they haven’t had personal experience encountering them. So rengoku’s death was a wake up call to them that the upper moons are leagues ahead of the lower moons who they can kill so easily
I believe one of the reason why Tengen looks up to Rengoku is because when Rengoku fought (during Mugen train) he managed to protect everyone and not a single life were lost. Unlike here in Entertainment district during the fight with Daki alone, there were a lot of casualties. Rengoku is truly awesome and i love how Tengen looks up to him.Tengen is amazing himself, but I'm putting Rengoku above Tengen on my list bcoz of so many reasons.

Here what they say about each other:
( he is an amazing man, he is so flamboyant,he is more flamboyant than me) uzui saying someone is more flamboyant than him means he respect rengoku
( he is an amazing swordsman and has cool fighting style, but he has slightly too many wives😅) rengoku and Tengen have mutual respect for each other and it’s beautiful
( Tengen fighting an upper moon demon while poisoned and protecting others shows you how remarkable he is , to me he is the best hashira)

because demons are only killed by sunlight, nichirin swords absorb sunlight. if they used wisteria it wouldn't kill a demon once it's beheaded but they can still use it on poisons like shinobu does
Shinobu does because she’s weak ( physically) and unable to behead demons with strength alone , she said so herself on her first appearance

Even if many Hasiras were devoured, it must been recently in a 10 to 20 yr period. Many older Hasiras retired after Muzan was crippled by the 1st sun breather. Older Hasiras was put on reserve to be teacher's for future generations. Now Muzan is worried and testing his own ranks!
I predict Gyutaro didn't mind Tanjiro slashing his neck, because he knows he could only die if him and Daki were beheaded simultaneously.
Uzui has great respect for Rengoku because he has saved many lives especially in the Mugen Train arc (he saved 200 people) while Uzui himself can't protect his own brother (you can see in the opening young Uzui looking at the corpses). And Uzui indirectly mentions there are 2 strongest hashira in the demon slayers (but actually there is still 1 more person).
Who is the other one ? I don't remember, I only know Himejima is the strongest hashira, and Tokito is just super talented

tokitou is just super
talented (being descendant of the tsugikuni), even with the mark he is not among the 5 strongest for what he showed
